Got to Bandon this evening to 65 degrees and no wind. Perfect kickoff round on the Preserve. Pac Dunes and Bandon Dunes tomorrow, similar weather forecast
Looks awesome. Couldn't be more jealous. Was supposed to go out there for Ohio State/Oregon but when the game got cancelled money man (Dad) called off the trip.
Any recs for splitting 3 rounds at the Lake Oconee/Reynolds courses? Going in a couple weeks. Great Waters just reopened from a renovation so I will probably do at least 1 round there.
Pretty sure Bryson is trying to get relief from a "dangerous situation" due to fire ants. Be still my beating heart.
Pretty sure he's trying to find a way to cheat the fact that his ball was butted up against loose sticks that he couldn't move without moving the ball. Rules official was like nah...
He said he saw like 1-2 red ants and they scurried away. He’s such a bitch about trying to get favorable non existent rulings.
insects kill millions worldwide every year and people still are demented enough to criticize bryson for trying to stay safe
this was before the renovation obviously but I did not think Great Waters was close to worth the 325 greens fee
Bryson looking like a BBB (again) and Brooks shooting a 62 was just *chef's kiss* of a day watching PGA Tour.
i won’t even walk through a fire ant pile at my house much less try to play a professional sport in one
Shot the best 9 of my life tonight with a 34 and a net 30 with my handicap in our men’s league night tonight. Won it by 3 strokes. Have been getting lessons every Tuesday and I’m hitting it so pure right now. I was casting a bit with my downswing causing it to leak to the right a bit. I hit two approaches from 220 out with a fairway metal that were both among the top 5 shots of my life. Had 7 birdie putts and all inside 30 feet and only made 2 of them (one was a tap in). I’ll never play that well again. I’m sure I would’ve shot a 46 on the front if we played 18.
This broadcast is almost unwatchable with the constant FedEx slurping There is the FedEx hq right behind this green FedEx sure does a lot for the game of golf The WGC FedEx was always one of my favorite stops on tour
I went to the PGA Championship in 2011 for a practice round and a Thursday. I saw him on a few holes during practice and he always had a cigar in his mouth even while hitting. Had to have gone through 3-4 cigars during the practice round. He also had a group of hot ass Spanish chicks in tight pants following him around on the practice round and on the Thursday. He instantly shot up my favorite golfer rankings.
What’s the confusion? Does Bama grad and well-known scientist Justin Thomas not think people will live that long in the future?
Played for the first time with my new irons, and uhh... I think I like them. From 175 with my 7 iron...
SIM Max, right? Mine were supposed to arrive tonight but they’re no where to be found and I have a tee time tomorrow morning
Just says In Transit, no update since leaving IL yesterday morning. Guess I’ll have to golf again on Sunday too
I don't have new irons but I'm putting new shafts in my current set. Making the switch to steel fiber next week
Played my first 18 of the year this AM with my little dude. I've had a hand injury I've been fighting since December so that has sucked. Finally am able to swing the club without immense pain. Coincidentally I shot an 88. Best round in a long time.
My 3 year old is a golf freak. Constantly hitting golf wiffle balls around the yard. He got up last year early and watched The Open with me on Saturday and Sunday. Me and my coffee and him with his OJ, just chilling together in the recliner. He watches golf highlights on YouTube all of the time. Took him to the range last night too. Probably going to drop the coin for a membership next year. My dad hates golf so my buddy's dad took me with him and my buddy when I was younger. That's how I got into it. Hopefully he sticks with it so we can play together for years to come.
