I think they’re hit or miss. One by me is okay by Burlington standards, but at least has some good stuff on occasion
Need some referrals on a stand bag. I am 6’3” and my current bag I cannot let the straps out enough to get it low enough on my back to be comfortable. What say you?
I've got to order a pair of these. https://www.nike.com/t/golf-tour-premiere-mens-golf-shoe-BPA3X4 dblplay1212 what do you think of this new lace system?
I'm a proud member of the push cart mafia. I walk when playing my local course probably 90-95% of the time and the push cart is an absolute game changer when it gets that much use
Push carts on most courses in the British Isles is the way to go. And most of the locals use them so it’s not looked down upon.
I hate them with passion. At my club we store members' personal carts, so we have upwards of 120. They are a fucking nightmare. I could rant for hours. I know there are decent players that know how to use them efficiently and it actually speeds them up but at my club that is not the case.
Guys. This isn't a hard concept. You have 4 guys pushing vs 4 guys in 2 carts, the pushers are going to be faster.
The people who are slow will be slow regardless. Players who a conscientious with an eye toward maintaining good pace are not hindered by a push cart.
I can legitimately play 18 holes in under 2 and a half hours in a cart. There’s zero chance you’re walking 18 in that time.
The majority of people don't play alone. If there are multiple people playing together, its obviously walking or pushing is going to be faster HTH
What the fuck are you talking about? You seemed to back out of it, but I think you legitimately think carts are slow
I've played 18 holes in a cart in 28 mins. Only reason it took so long is because I missed my hole-in-one on two Par 5s. So yeah, there.
Caddies single-bagging instead of double-bagging is also a way to cut down pace of play by 20-30 min per round. Issue with it is you’re forced to employ twice the amount of caddies for possibly half the wage.
Love walking 18 with a push cart. It's good exercise and takes about the same amount of time unless it's a course with a lot of space between greens and tee boxes
What kind of alternate universe have I stepped into itt today? Walking (push cart or not) is not faster than a golf cart. I mean....what?!?
I would like to hear some of this rant. How is there a wrong way to use one? And I assume most of your headaches come from storing/keeping up with the members' shit Also, even though I'm an avid walker, no way in hell is walking ever faster, except for maybe on cart path only courses
I'm just happy to be a part of the reason why we got P.Reed out of this threads subject title. He is definitely a cart guy off the tour.
What the fuck is this, high school golf? People actually walk in foursomes? I still would doubt it’s faster. Everyone getting to the green at different times and if someone is spraying it all over the place, forget about it.
You’re just really bitchy. After you brought up the dumb thought, you got overly defensive about it. And here we are
