On my 2nd pair of Pumas and love them. I was skeptical of the disc (replaces laces) but now I don't think I'd go back
As long as you don’t get old you’ll be ok. Seriously though check them out. Very comfy and my feet don’t hurt after a round.
My first priority is will the shoes look good with white pants and a black belt. Pumas fit that bill. Functionality and comfort are second.
Nike Infinity Tour 2 are fantastic. Extremely comfortable and stable. Look great IMO. Improvement over last years which were also great. First Nike golf shoe in awhile that I wear true to size
Big fan of adidas golf shoes, and they always go on sale. No break-in needed, they’re comfortable out of the box. And they have soft spikes and spikeless options depending on your preference.
one week from today i will be at Ole Waverly/Mossy Oak teeing off on our practice round for my buddies yearly golf trip. 90 holes in 3 days. weather is going to be perfect. cannot wait!
Coming off 54 in 2 days I can’t imagine adding one more back to back day. We also drank like absolute idiots the whole time
I miss Old Waverly. Worked there in college. It was so nice getting to play golf for free. There were rumors about Mossy Oak getting built when I was there. Crazy to think that was 20 years ago.
It gets harder and harder each year. I may do 9 in the practice round. Key is changing socks and shoes after the morning round.
Supposed to be playing the next 3 days in north Alabama on a bachelor trip. But we’ll see how much golf we’re able to get in around Helene
Mossy Oak cabins. last time we stayed at Waverly. these look to be basically the same deal except newer.
I've had a pretty ridiculous golf summer. Did a Wisconsin trip in June. We played Erin Hills, Blackwolf Run, and Whistling Straits. Over 100 holes in 4 days. Then did Pinehurst in August. Played #2, #4, #5, #8 and looped the Cradle a few times. I think I've played 3 of the top 10 and 4 of the top 20 public courses over the last 90 days or so.
im supposed to be in north Georgia around Clayton tomorrow and Saturday to play for a friends 40th. Tomorrow is obviously washed out so we are having our pro try to find us somewhere on the way up. We probably should just cancel because the water levels look high af
When we stayed at Waverly it was like out of 1985. The mossy oak cabins look awesome With that said like Waverly’s course more
We went a few years ago and half of the group got those old ass cabins but the other half, including me, got some really nice houses on a fairway. I like Old Waverly more but also think Mossy Oak is a course that gets better the more you play it.
The Waverly cabin I stayed in felt pretty new. This was in 2021. It was nice enough. I love Waverlys course. One of my all time favorites. The clubhouse is also elite and it’s one of the few golf resorts that makes you feel like you’re a member as opposed to the rtj corporate vibe. Mossy OK was too hard for a shit golfer like me but I thought it was a very creative layout and the greens were awesome. It Feels like you’re stepping into a different planet going from course to course .
Credit card at the beginning then give you a # and get a total at checkout is both elite and dangerous. But closing out every time sucks
Amazing what happens in international competitions when you include people on the team that actually want to be there
The score doesn’t indicate the play. We made putts late and the INTs lipped a bunch out or just flat out choked/missed them but all the matches were close. I expect tomorrow to be just as close.
I think Ponte Vedra, desperate for an event they own to have any juice, is having the Americans take a dive today. This alt shot format should favor the Americans even more than 4 ball.
