I read elsewhere that there are different contact tracing protocols depending on vaccination status, so him being subject to daily testing is the more stringent of the two and indicates being not vaxxed
Interesting if true. Doesn't make much sense considering you can still get COVID if you've been vaccinated. Sure it's rare but whether you've been vax'd or not, if you've knowingly been in close contact with someone whose COVID positive, why not test daily regardless

My understanding is its very rare to be a carrier of covid once you have been vaccinated - hence a different protocol. Like you are more likely to have a false positive test than actually be infected.
