so the final round doesn't get demolished in the ratings by the NFL, probably should do the same with the American Express as well
Not yet, some of the paint was worn down so I actually stripped the paint today and gonna touch it up tomorrow. Deciding what colors to paint where and I keep going back and forth
I had actually purchased an SC bullseye to restore and repaint but then realized how ill equipped I was to complete such a task.
Gainey ranch is where my uncle used to be member so I’ve always wanted to play there. It’s a clubcorp property.
Also local rates, Vs non local rates are really pissing me off in Vegas. Im going to head out to Vegas in may, was thinking about maybe taking my clubs again. But one course I’m looking at 40 for locals 123 for non locals. Anyone know a way around? Also buddy of mine built a sim in his garage.
Saw a tweet from the WMPO announcing celebs for the pro-am: Emmitt Smith, Larry Fitzgerald, Rob Riggle, and Alexandra O’Laughlin. Just got to throw in the hot girl for good measure lol.
I don't know how I missed it, but TopGolf is at Dodger Stadium. Sold out already. Hard to believe I wasn't a part of some demographic to whom they marketed. Or that the algorithm of various social media sites didn't make it pop-up in my feed. Bummer, would've been fun.
If you live in a locale without golf for several months a year it’s good. If you do not, not so good. It tracks club and not ball. So after the first hole everyone but me stopped hitting a ball. And a buddy with a wicked left handed slice instantly started blocking everything left.
Played Mountain Lake the other day. Old Seth Raynor with a lot of template holes and amazing greens. It absolutely blew me away. It's the best course in Florida in my opinion.
Damn. Everything about that looks so good with the exception of the Optishot. Hopefully, he can upgrade soon. You guys will have a much better time with a better LM and sim software
The PGA Tour should do tournaments in late July - August on the west coast Monday thru Thursday in prime time. The tour loses steam after the Open with a bunch of kinda lame events that no one is staying home on weekend afternoons to watch. Do FedEx Cup at Harding Park, Chambers Bay, Tetherow, and one of the non Pebble/Cypress Monterey Peninsula courses. Problem with this is then you have to find another time of year to get to the east coast markets and there aren't a lot of options.
Speaking of Streamsong, I saw they announced a Coore/Crenshaw short course is starting construction. I’m surprised they only have the space for a short course and not another full 18, although maybe they thought this makes more sense because of weather making full 36 hole days tough much of the year
But it’s not a short course like the Cradle or Preserve; their email said the initial routing has holes up to 300 yards
Yeah but he's fallen all the way to 101 in OWGR and probably needed this more than guys like Bryson, Finau, Brooks, etc
