Finally got my driver back with the new shaft after a little temper tantrum left me driver-less. Hit a few balls when I picked it up and pretty happy with the result. Was in the 240-250 range with a shitty Pinnacle ball I was hitting for the first 15 or so. Looked around and found a Bridgestone and hit the last 5 or so in the 270-280 range. Most happy that I didn’t slice or hook one.
100% the truth. I wish we had a few of them on video. Holing out from 30 yards after being in tree jail was so sweet. Thanks again for setting all of that up, world class experience!
Also more background here. I had prefaced this hole to him before the round even started of how much I hate it. I hit it a little left and then pured my next shot and had 15 feet for birdie. I was overcoming that holes curse on me. And then he chips in.
Another one since he will post it at some point. He out drove me by 2 yards but these were the approach shots. I was the one on the green.
Once the world is in a better place I’m gonna propose something that will be right along these lines.
One of two needles I threaded today. And then I almost putted into the lake which brought the match to AS. Knocked down a lot of coconuts during the first 18.
My idea I’ve told a few on here, Friday evening in Atl at a place like Bobby Jones, Saturday everyone drive up and spend the day at Sweetens, Sunday back in Atl and fly out Sunday afternoon.
