    I think he is about to get some sponsor exemptions and make noise. His parents have no interest in him going pro early and money isn’t a huge factor for their family. He’s just that good.

    Kid I played with on my high school team was between 3 and 5 consistently. Hit #2 every now then but could never catch Wesley Bryan. He ended up at Winthrop, if that gives you any indication on what to expect. He also won the 2020 SC amateur of the year 12 years after graduating high school

    Interesting that Gooch is on there as he's real tight with Max isn't he? I say that just because hasn't Max said multiple times on the NLU podcast that he was really in the dark about all of it and was never approached and had asked dudes about it but never got any info? Hard to believe that all to be the case when one of, if not his closest friend on tour is jumping ship.

    I also could be not remembering correctly, idk.

    Threatened bans/suspensions but there hasn’t been any rumblings since they declined all the releases and most guys had said they were staying on Tour. Definitely puts them in a tough spot with DJ going. That last part would be up to the USGA
