Hovland looking like a weekend warrior hacking it back and forth across the green. I know those feels
That was hilarious for those that didn’t see... He bladed one from a fairway bunker into the woods over the green. Hacked out of woods into greenside bunker that settled on the front lip, so it was a downward sloping lie that he’d have to hack down on back toward the flag. From there he skulls another one out of greenside bunker right back into the woods behind the green where he just was. Finally took a drop. Quad bogey
Now this is a level of activation I haven’t seen before. Funny how Rickie’s social presence has evolved to corporate shill after Golf Boyz and spring break
Golf boyz was 10 years ago. That spring break was almost 5 years ago. He’s 32 and married so it’s not that hard to believe.
2019 to present he's earned north of $5 million with 1 victory in 45 events. And we all know what he goes home to. I'm definitely in the camp that thought he'd have a major by now. His finish at Sawgrass awhile back was an all-timer.
any more specifics into what you're looking for? I have a 4h that is probably my best club but idk your gapping.
Yep I’m looking for a 4h. The TaylorMade Sim2 looks pretty nice online. Although I’d probably take an older model on whatever I end up buying.
You can probably still find the Ping G410 around. I like Ping hybrids because they’re one of the few that offer adjustable settings in those clubs
As always hit as many thing as you can. I just got the SIM UDI as my long iron off the tee but I like the iron shape where some like the more wood look so try whatever you can
Got my new irons in the other day. Been playing iBlades or i210s the last couple years. Decided to try the G425 (I'm on staff with Ping). First range session I hit a shitty toe ball with a 5 iron that reached an uphill flag at 200 yards. Would have easily been 15 yards short with my other irons. I may never practice again. These clubs are 2-3 degrees stronger lofted but go 10% higher.
Fairway wood/hybrid is the easiest club to hit for me. Which is good because it takes several blasts to reach a par 5
Why do they keep talking about how will Morikawa handle the pressure of a WGC event? He’s already closed out a major.
I believe that’s building a narrative to drive up viewership to please lead sponsor Workday, of the World Golf Championship- Workday Championship at The Concession.
