Played East Lake and Medinah #3 within the last week. East Lake course conditions were much better. Medinah had probably the best clubhouse/country club setup of any place I have ever been. Would like to play Medinah again earlier in the year before a tournament. Both courses were amazing

Kostis has been horrible for years. McCord’s schtick has gotten tired I think.

 

If none of the current football games interest you, Tiger just went off live on Golf Channel. 30 minutes of this before switching it to a stream to watch the World Series is a pretty solid Saturday night

This guy has been talking nonstop for what seems like an hour

 

Played at a local muni this afternoon. It’s actually an old AW Tillinghast design that hosted the 1949 PGA Championship, but local county has taken it over and kinda let it go to shit over the years (see - their sad excuse for “bunkers”).

Anyway, check out this lie on #3. Drivable short par 4, with a sizable bunker guarding the front edge. I ran my drive into what I thought was a water filled bunker, but some dumb fuck had left the rake right in front.

Cool you get to play a muni with that kind of history. Seems to me the dumb fuck did you a favor, that bunker looks worse to hit out of

 

On the one hand, that is a pretty damn good field Tiger won against. On the other hand, I don't know that everyone was in top form. Probably a lot of guys showing up to collect a check.

 

You could ask the same question about Tiger. Having had his knee scoped and not playing competitive golf for months, hard to imagine he's in top form

 

Tiger looked terrible to end last season so this is even more surprising

 

This is why Tiger has 82 tour victories and none of these other cats will come close.
