That's a fair statement. The Old Course is so damn goofy. Probably doesn't help that I played it in 40-45mph winds lol. We had pristine conditions for all the other courses we played.
Anybody know if any of the grandstands this week are general admission or are they all for corporate sponsors?
Agreed. Just watched Sergio line up for a birdie putt, they cut to a watch commercial as he's about to hit, and they return to him picking up his ball after his par putt.
I am really enjoying the online coverage...have seen very few commercials and almost all of the shots from the 2017 Major Winners group lol at Koepka doming someone

Anyways. Shot an 87 today. Tale of two 9s. 39/48. No idea what happened on the back. Things were all over the place.
Have any of y'all played Kinderlou Forest outside of Valdosta? Played there two weeks ago, I thought it was a really awesome design.
I have a buddy that used to work there. Tough track, had some nationwide tour events and other Georgia stuff I think.
What kind or shorts do you guys golf in? I've been wearing underarmour but the quality is terrible. I get snags in them everytime I wear them. Also, any have or has anyone swung a Cobra F7 driver?
It'sAlwaysSunnyInAthens I buy a lot of my stuff from Dillard's because they randomly have good sales. Here's a decent price on the shorts http://www.dillards.com/p/callaway-lightweight-tech-flat-front-shorts/506567907?di=04824309
I go to dillards a lot too. Never worn Callaway shorts but that's a couple recs. I'll give them a shot.
Really? I just bought two pairs of UA golf shorts a few months back and they've held up really well. I have a few pairs of Nike ones aside from that which have held up pretty well too.
I've been exclusively wearing Footjoy shorts for a few years. Tried on and bought a couple pairs of Under Armour bent grass shorts yesterday. No idea how well they hold up but damn if they aren't comfortable
Looks like Thoros of Beer has the fantasy title all wrapped up. Pretty good battle for second ongoing.
Did a little weekend golf trip to Ross Bridge with some buddies to get out of Houston for the weekend. Got in Thursday and had an afternoon tee time at Ross Bridge; got through 6 holes on the front before getting called in for rain, went off the back and got 5 more in before it was too dark. I was very impressed; really pretty course, but fuck me if it wasn't the longest course I've ever played. On Friday we did an all you can golf deal at Oxmoor Valley. It was a great time, but cart path only makes for a brutal day on your legs out there. Got through the Ridge, the Valley and 5 holes on the short course before dark. Made a 35 footer on the last shot of the day to take me from being down ~$50 to up ~$110 . Wanted to play Ross Bridge on Saturday, but there was a tournament scheduled that had the afternoon booked. Went back out to Oxmoor where it was mercifully 90* rule on the Valley course; fell in love with the cart girl again. Overall it was a solid pretty reasonably priced trip. With my buddy's corporate rate we got our rooms at the Renaissance for $95/night for the weeknights (then I think they were $150/night, still not bad).
Hey Thoros there's no tournament this week so don't even worry about checking Yahoo at all, just trust me
He may have it wrapped up, but can we reflect on the whooping that Room 15 Japple put on everyone? What a guy
