Wonder what Reed’s wife thought about that form. Think she had already called Bo Jackson by the time he had signed his card?
Anyone have any experience using either an app swing trainer or one of the wearables? Going for lessons but thought it would be helpful for tweaking some things.
Not a big fan of Woodland but that video of him with the special olympics girl making a par in Phoenix was pretty awesome.
His game is a lot of fun to watch, I still can't get over that stinger he hit in Hawaii to start this year when Xander came from way back to win
I don't know what you guys are complaining about. If this was on NBC/Golf Channel we'd be enjoying commercials after every 3rd shot. Quit bitching. Also, complaining about Jim Nantz being on your TV during a golf broadcast is rich.
The broadcast was very front-loaded with commercials and special features but it has gotten much better as the last groups went out
How has the tournament been? Haven’t had a chance to follow until now basically I want Louis to win out of the contenders
Yeah I know it's not uncommon to see a bit of a mixed bag, just surprised me with him because of all the fuss that was made about him leaving TM
Overall no course issues as have been consistent in the past. Damn good leaderboard. Woodland has absolutely been the best player so far without a doubt but we'll see if he can keep that up. Koepka is lurking....
Fox has shown 10 hours of live US Open coverage per round. Of course it’s going to be bloated, but, as a fan of the sport, I think this has been a fantastic TV event. The prime time east coast round completion is awesome.
With Rory not making birdies, the top of the leaderboard is a bunch of stars that I don’t like and then Gary Woodland. I want carnage.
This is some ridiculous golf being played by the guys near the top today though. Only 21 guys under par today, most of which are currently still out there. Course is having a great showing today with challenging everyone, guys are just holing out from everywhere to keep it together
The condition the course is in today is absolutely perfect for the US Open. There are some birdie holes out there, but they’re balanced out by difficulty elsewhere. Anything under par is a good day, unlike the first two rounds. Hope tomorrow is the same.
Kuchar with another instance of getting a second opinion, but Slugger sides with him and gives him relief
It isn't surprising that he's playing well. He seems to always lurk on the west coast swing only to disappear when they move east
Tomorrow should be fun. The knock on Woodland in recent years is that he doesn’t show up on Sundays when it counts. I think he puts that behind him.
Definitely remind me of basketball shoes. My favorites on tour right now are Rory's. Can't buy the colors he wears. Also, DJ hasn't been worth a fuck since he changed shoes for Canadian open.
