What kind of distance gains would we be talking about on average for a driver that tests at 257 vs 239?
Depends on swing speed and how center on the club face the ball is hit. But for the guys swinging 115+ mph and not hitting the center, it could equate to 5-10 extra yards of carry.
I think that minor difference related to a driver testing at 257 and conforming vs the 258 non-conforming. That response was directed at a club head testing at the actual limit of 239 vs the acceptable 257
Granted, I’m going off stats people have been posting on golf equipment message boards, so very much take it with a grain of salt. But if it was only a foot, I don’t think the R&A would even care to test for it.
I came to post this. Lol wtf Thorbjorn....so weird. The quote from the "witness" kills me... Who the hell expects that on any airline?!?
On the NLU recap pod on Sunday, the story about John Daly at the casino in Reno is truly incredible. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, but just listen starting at 38:20.
Speaking of....can someone post a link to our fantasy group. I got a new phone and my bookmarks didn't transfer over for whatever reason.
I've got a G400 LST driver for sale if anyone is interested PM me. 10 degree, Hzrdus 6.0 76g its used but looks great. Comes with headcover and tool.
He gets dropped anyway. Jigga should probably do that before tour championship so it’s easier to follow.
I've only played 2 of them. Grand National and Capitol Hill which are 2 of the most popular I guess. Of the two Capitol Hill > Grand National. Not sure what part of the state you'll be in but my favorite place to golf in Bama from my trip there actually isn't on the Trail. It's a place called FarmLinks.
Not looking to stay anywhere in particular. The plan would be to play a course in the morning and drive to another one to play the afternoon. Repeat the next day.
Shit...forgot about that. Your lead is actually even bigger than it appears when you take that into account.
Farmlinks recommendation is clutch.. Father in law is building a lake house less than an hour from here and I had no idea it existed. I'm going to be all over the 40 dollar twilight rounds.
Playing in my first individual stroke play tournament this weekend. Played well yesterday. Hoping to not pull a JB Holmes today Edit: first individual stroke play tournament in 7ish years.
If I were in contention to win, I might consider red and black. I have no chance to win the overall title. They did break the regular division into 39 and under and 40-54 (senior division starts at 55). I'm 2 back and solo 2nd in the 40+ group
So I've got a 2 and a half year old that absolutely loves golf. Golf is literally the only thing he will watch besides spiderman. Sunday afternoons are generally spent sitting with me in my chair watching tournaments. He's got his plastic clubs in his hands 90 percent of the time at home. He practices putting on my auto return putting green almost every day. Hes getting pretty freaking good at 6 to 8 footers. My question is what is a good age to get him his first real clubs(already has a putter)? I dont want to get clubs that are big for him and develop any bad habits or is that something to not worry about yet?
