KVV’s original tweet was a good point I thought. I’m certainly not inclined to watch LIV. But I sure as shit am not tuning in with the leaderboards we’ve seen
somewhat related , read an article yesterday that the players no longer get a cut of the teams win automatically. Instead the money goes to the “team” and is there to pay all of the team expenses since LIV is no longer funding them. Guess it’s causing some issues because they only pay out to 3 teams.
Everyone must have missed the part where those dudes went there so they could get paid without having to grind.
Liv is trying to pump these teams value up so that they can sell them for 100mm. They need these teams to show some kind of profit to justify that valuation, this just seems to be robbing Peter to pay Paul.
yeah that was clearly the motive. They’re supposedly thinking about either dumping and/or shifting money away from individuals to the team pool and fwiw this is the source, so consider it I suppose
