Had to pass up a late offer for Presidents Cup sponsor tickets after I already scheduled golf with the FIL. He hasn’t played in years so if it becomes a complaint show, at least I vented somewhere.
Man, slope of 155. Would completely depend on what my driver wanted to do that day. Most penal course I’ve ever seen. Blind landing spots from the tee shot and severe trouble just off the short grass.
Quail Hollow looks like a sweet ass course to me. Just a great style that doesn't get old to play if you were a member. Guessing it's $$$$.
The rumors are that’s a minimum and the real number depends on if the owner likes you or not. And it’s only open for play like 3 months or some really low number
Why? Who cares? He'll get his chance. Who the hell is a Billy Ho fan? I mean I'd get it if you were a Gator fan but you're not even that.
Yeah Scottie has missed just about every 10-15 footer today. Could have absolutely closed them out about 30 min ago.
Internationals pulled ahead for a day and a half until the US realized they needed to think their way around the course and not bomb and gouge. Once they laid back on those par 4's where driving up close to the green left you dead it was over.
No one is sandbagging, but if they really only come out of today up 3-2 it is surprising. They were dominant all afternoon
I feel like I need to buy a lotto ticket. I posted a few days ago about looking for a new putter. While at work today I was talking to a coworker who is a 2-3 round a year golfer. I was telling him I was in the market for a new one as I'm not putting with my current one well anymore. He's like "what style?" Told him I'd like to stay with my current blade style. He then goes on to tell me he's got one at home that he'd sell me, that he's not sure what brand it is and he'd bring it back from lunch. Well he's a lefty so I said hows that going to work but he assured me that it was a right handed putter. I'm like ok fine. This dude comes back from lunch and walks right into my office with a brand new Scotty Newport 2. I asked him what he wanted for it and he said 20 bucks. I'm like do you know what this is worth? He's like yeah but it was my dad's who passed away 2 months ago. "My stepmom(who he hates) got it for my dad and it will piss her off to know I sold it for cheap". I asked him again if he was sure and he was like yep, you'd be doing me a favor. So yeah, proud owner of a new Scotty Newport 2.
Been playing like absolute dodo as of late. Was nice today to go out and shoot an 80 with one birdie today.
