Greller had to go stand up and be a marker for him then he used a club to align his shot. Not illegal or anything but the whole thing was just kind of lame.
Using a club for alignment is illegal though. That's why when Greller stood up there to give him a line, Jordan told him he had to move; you can't have something helping with your line Just looked it up for clarification: using the club for alignment is not illegal if it's removed before the stroke is made, but he did not move that extra club
The Spieth moment was incredibly overrated. But claiming he used that club for alignment is outrageous. It wasn’t even pointing in the direction of the shot, hence no penalty. If it was, it *absolutely* would have been illegal and called.
So yahoo is no longer doing fantasy golf. Anyone have suggestions? I use golf channel for another league but up for suggestions.
I can do a little research on the matter right now. I'll post some different options itt and then I suppose we can all vote on it.
How's the Golf Channel's league setup compare to Yahoo? For as easy as Yahoo was to navigate and everything, it had a ton of problems in regards to counting points/lineup deadlines and other cases to where I'm not upset about having to change

It’s similar to a DFS set up where you have a $ amount to fill a roster. Bonuses for things like bogey free rounds and birdie streaks. And it’s points for what is done on a per hole basis. Birdie 4, eagle 8 bogey -1 etc

Ok, those 3 are the only 3 I found that claimed they were free and looked legit. So I suppose we can choose between any of those or the Golf Channel one that Jigga mentioned he used for another league. I'm personally intrigued most by the PinHigh one but am ultimately cool with whatever.
Yeah I just included it because it's on the actual PGA Tour site but when I was researching I did see a couple comments/reviews that said it sucked.
My biggest complaint with it is that the scoring for regular PGA Tour events includes in round performance like driving and scoring stats but in majors they only scored points for their score. So it completely devalued the most important tournaments in Golf.
I just created a dummy league earlier to mess around with this website some and I second this opinion
officefootballpool.com does fantasy golf pretty well. Our league used to do yahoo, and I think did pgatour.com one year as well, but switched to officefootballpool 2-3 years ago and I really enjoy it. I am not the commish, but I believe it is pretty customizable. I recommend checking out that site if you guys are still looking for options.
I liked yahoo. Sucks they ended it. I trust Jigga to spend 30-40 hours preparing for a full presentation to those of us at the Champions dinner with his proposed new site. fish Thoros of Beer and other champs
I’m sorry what? I made an account on PinHigh but from what I saw it’s a tournament to tournament set up. I may be wrong on that but that’s a deal breaker for me. PGA tour sucks. For familiarity I obviously lean golf channel.
I set up a league on GolfChannel because PinHigh isn’t active yet. As it gets closer I’ll check it out and see how it is and we can switch if needed PM me and I’ll send you a link.
Very frustrating round. Played a par 3 course. Hit 15 or 16 greens. Shot +3. 31 putts. I lipped out 5 or 6 very makeable birdie putts.

Played 7 straight days down in Secession last wk. Got in at least 21 holes each day. Boozing every day and walking definitely took its toll on me. Played like shit during the member/guest, but it was an absolute blast. Played the practice round with two guys from Scotland. Ended up hanging out with them the rest of the tourny before my other friends showed up. They are members at Carnoustie and Glen Eagles. Hopefully going to plan a trip over there with them. Members tees somewhere around 120 yards Pic2 - #18 w/ clubhouse. long dogleg left. Members do chipoffs from the top steps of the clubhouse. I actually won it the night of the big Member/Guest dinner. Pic3- #1. The two chairs represent two members who were in the WTC and died on 9/11. Gotta get some pics of the cannon that they fire off. Shit was unreal
Meant to post earlier: I was watching the favorites round the other night and saw a teaser trailer for the new Callaway, I think it's the Rogue? Thought it was pretty crazy to see that already since the speculation is it'll be unveiled at the PGA show next month

I'd assume it should stay at the same $500 retail and the Epic drop a little? I can't imagine Callaway going over the 500 mark before Titleist (excluding PXG from the major manufacturers for this comparison)
I wanna say that’s what my guy told me but just a guess. Interested to see how much farther they can go with jailbreak. But being the whore I am if it beats the Epic I may have to pull the trigger.
