Smylie is +7 but his team is -7. Given his partner (badass Jimmy Dunne) is a 2 handicap, I doubt he's net -14 thru two rounds. Guessing they're doing best ball of the team, with the amateur score being handicapped.
He played on the Nationwide Tour before becoming a musician http://www.pgatour.com/webcom/news/2015/05/15/colt-ford-bmw-charity-pro-am.html
Just started getting into golf on a consistent basis over the last year or so. I'm still mediocre, but have gotten a lot better and am now a 17 handicap after starting at like a 25 like a year and a half ago. Ive been playing with hand-me-down clubs and am starting to think it's time to upgrade now. Do I just call golf galaxy, golfmith, etc, and set up a fitting? Sorry for the ignorance. I'm new to all of this.

Get one of those fitters on the golf digest list if you can. I use one of the guys on there and he's miles above the folks at those box stores.
So the goal this year is to finally make use of the clubs I've gotten from my dad and take up golf. Looking at them today I have a 3-9 plus sw and pw of Nicklaus irons and a 3-9 plus pw set of Henry griffitts irons. Then some random like 52 degree irons a ping G5, a king cobra ss 380 9.0, a ping g30 and an adams golf 18 degree fairway wood. I'm guessing I should see which I am more comfortable with before I get rid of any.
The Parsons golf folks were at our club yesterday. I liked the couple irons that I hit but lmao at $350/club.
Trying to get rid of this pair of Adidas Powerband 4.0's, size 11.5. I bought them before I went to Scotland back in 2013 and wore them twice there and haven't since - even some authentic grass left on the soles from Carnoustie. Anyone interested?
Hey guys, heading out to Palm Springs next weekend and looking for a course recommendation. I was leaning towards Indian Wells Players course but didn't know if anyone else had a favorite.
I've played both at Indian wells. Both were fun. I like the Pete Dye resort course at the Westin Mission Hills. People like Desert Willow Firecliff and SilverRock but never played those. Book through stand by golf. Usually the best rate for Palm Desert.
If you were to pick between the two Indian Wells courses would you go Players or Celebrity. I have only played 1 round of golf since the beginning of December, so I'll be rusty.
I only played the Players course as part of a scramble so don't remember it as well as the Celebrity. I don't think you can lose either way. The Celebrity was pretty forgiving so I might lean that way.
Paige Spiranic was on the golf fix last night on golf channel. Gonna be on morning drive tomorrow too. She was showing off her flop shot and stretching exercises. Talk about a hole in one
Tiger apparently cancelled his pressed tomorrow because he's been advised to limit all activities to help his back spasms
Just got sent this pic that's supposedly Paige spiranac. I don't really know who that is other than she's a hot golf chick but didn't see it posted anywhere. Is this really her? And are there others out there? Spoiler: NSFW pic
First round of the year for me. Played the Kirkland ball (got them as a Xmas gift) and they are every bit as good as advertised. Big fan.
fish are you familiar with The Monarch Beach Resort? I'm flying in Monday & there for the week so am wondering about the course. Playing at least once while there.
