Not necessarily. Being able to play created courses on 2K allows for you to still play Augusta, albeit without the branding.
Rose gaming a TaylorMade M1 driver and possibly 3 wood this week, those things have to be so hot. Weird to see a pro playing a model that old
The way pros hit it I’m sure the newer clubs are small improvements. But as old as his M1 is the face has to be nice and worn in making it slightly hotter than the juiced Sims so likely he gets the same numbers
Let’s go Xander!!!! San Diego throwing a No hitter and winning the Masters all in one weekend would be tits!!!!!
So a buddy of mine just gave me a m2 driver head for $20. Probably would have been free but I wanted to pay something. What driver shafts did you guys have in yours if you had one. Was thinking about putting a smoke into it.
Hideki is 29 and has 6 wins stateside as well as more internationally. He’s a former #2 in the world. He’s more in line with HOFers than those guys.
Has anyone gone to a major where tiger was close or on top of the leaderboard? How was the atmosphere in person?
Say much more about it? He was down coming into the last but after the 12th, did everyone have a feeling he was gonna do it?
I was at Hazeltine on Sunday when he lost to Yang. I think by that point people a) took him for granted and b) it was such a pain in the ass to actually see him for multiple shots. You would have to jump ahead 2 or 3 holes and wait. I think I saw him on 15 or 16 and just decided to leave because there was no way to see anything after that. It was right as Rory was starting to come on and I tried to chase him.
I was at Torrey in 08. It was basically impossible to get close. I’ve was a rock star and everyone else besides a few were just guys. We watched a bunch of players with no crowds around so the positive was Tiger would pull so many, the other side of the course was open.
I was at masters when he chipped in on 16 and won. Unfortunately, after he missed the green my dad and I walked to 17 green to get front row. Didn't see the chip in but the roar was other worldly. Then, tiger bogeyed 17 but we got a front row seat. Also saw him win PGA in Tulsa. Was great but not same atmosphere as Augusta.
I watched Tiger at the Presidents Cup. It was absurd. It felt like nobody was doing anything other than following him or getting in position to watch him.
How old does someone have to be to laugh out loud when they suggest they're thinking of trying to turn pro
What was the whole incident with Gary Player wearing it back to South Africa or whatever? Ps is Danny Willet the most forgettable Masters winner ever? Was just looking at the list of champs like who is this guy
Had my best round of the year last week. I've only gotten our 5 or so times and my game is horrifying. Forced myself to swing easy and suddenly I hit it straight.
Conversely, Thicc Golfer swings as hard as he possibly can, and ended up +5 for the tourney. Don’t do that!
I was at East Lake for the Tour Championship and walked with my boy through the first 12 holes, and then my wife and I went and camped out a spot on 18 green. The whole day was electric but obviously the ending was special. When the crowd line broke and engulfed the green, and Tiger two putt to win I cried like a baby. I’m obviously a huge TW fan (I lived in the neighborhood over from him in Windermere growing up, have met him numerous times, etc.) but I had just lost my dad a few months prior and golf was our thing. Very emotional day for TTWYall.
I’ve got Thursday tickets, cannot wait to be out there. I played Ocean Course about two years ago, such a cool property.
do you mind telling us more about your experiences with meeting tiger? That is awesome, glad you got to experience it.
I'm sorry for being a moron but could someone explain this to me? I know the caddie bowing to Augusta Natl as a show of respect to the course (which was awesome and pretty endearing as well) but what am I missing from the first photo? https://www.google.com/amp/s/ftw.us...deki-matsuyama-wins-caddie-bows-to-course/amp
