Fleetwoods irons are so good that he definitely has the ability to go off like he did on the final round last year at shinnecock. Feels like everyone is just too far back unless the conditions just deteriorate and Lowry just completely falls apart.

I'm thinking so. If Tommy would've made the birdie at one I'd feel better about him making something happen in the weather but Lowry still looks steady. Could see him and Tommy both coming back to the field some more and someone like Rick or Westy hanging around within 2-3 shots but ultimately Lowry hangs on
Lowry and McIlroy are close friends from playing underage golf together...if you merged them you'd have a hellova golfer. McIllroy just shats himself under pressure where as Lowry just doesn't enough fucks and enjoys his pints too much to be consistently good.
