I have golfed 124 holes in the past 10 days with 18 scheduled for tomorrow.

 

I've played about 54 holes in the past month. So you can kiss my ass

my buddy's brother in law is an equipment whore. he bought 716 ap2s a few months ago and subsequently ditched them for the c16s.

he just gave me the ap2s.

all have x stiff 115 gram shafts so I'm getting used to them. may dial them back to a kbs 120 stiff.

 

Why would you "get used" to a golf club? You only have one swing, you should put in a shaft that compliments it imv.

im trying to determine if the shafts work for me. I'm an 8 Hc, so it's not like I'm the most consistent striker of the golf ball.

I played a round on Sunday and while I scored well, my ball flight and the feel were way different but still effective. Ball flight much lower.

 

I haven't played Plantation and I'm sure it is great, but Seaside is what I would refer to as their premier course.

To stay relevant, touched my clubs for the first time in 6 months. Score was crap but only lost one ball, can't complain.

 

Played Edgewood Tahoe today. Will upload pics later. By far my favorite course Ive ever played. Just incredible. Greens ate me alive though. Shot an 89 but I was striking the ball and hitting enough greens/fairways to shoot low 80s. Just couldn't dial in the speed.

 

Duf gets the gut going and returns to form

 

I'm the opposite. Low 80s with three lost balls a round. I hate everything.

 

I average about 4 lost balls that should be in the middle of the fairway a round.

and ftr, after his round, he hedged saying he was unlikely to play, but has yet to formally withdraw from the event

and this is also the daughter Amy was preggo with when Phil wore the beeper at Pinehurst in 99, an event he nearly missed and eventually finished runner up at (his 1st of 6)
