Yikes that's some shit carpentry. My son and I tore out a carpeted stairway last year and put in red oak. Those treads and risers fit like a glove. Shoe mold would probably do the trick if that gap is well less than 3/4" Can't tell if those treads are bullnosed (stick out past the riser and rounded). If so, trimming that is gonna be a bitch.
No one comes to mind but I’d hit the local FB group. Ask for a few recommendations and then google them for reviews. You’ll probably find someone good who is also available that way.
I did Wallside a few years ago. They are perfectly fine. I just couldn’t justify the price of a place like Renewal by Anderson.
Local honeycrisp apples on sale at Meijer for $1.29/lb Practically giving away the GOAT apple this weekend
coming from NC i am preparing for 2.5x of what i was used to paying. i am also living in Detroit city limits, but so far the convos i've had don't make it seem like city vs metro is that big a difference anymore ...
I pay like $150 a month to insure a new Explorer and an old Explorer, with auto bundled with my homeowners policy. How much do you guys expect to pay for auto?
I'm at $882/6months on a '20 Cherokee. Bundled with my homeowners and "Diamond+" with Progressive. Was $700 before moving. Would be about $450 in Funcie. Progressive rep told me to drop my PIP (would save ~$250/6mos) since my medical insurance would cover it, but I haven't looked into it yet
Had Donut Cutter this morning, I'd rate about the same as Knapp's and just a smidge below Avon Donuts. No questions at this time.
I will say that "lemon poppyseed" as a flavor of cake donut is something I never knew I needed, but it was delicious. So bonus points to the Cutter for creativity
All of my detroit-based people on WoW (internet, not Detox's favorite game) started reporting internet issues so I took a look and I think WoW might just be completely offline everywhere
Not a question: This implies you have Avon over Knapp’s and I am not sure what methodology you are using, but it’s clearly flawed if those are the results it’s churning out.
The Korean BBQ was in Novi at Bibimbab. It's fine. Then we just drove around for a while looking for coffee so the sitter would have our daughter in bed before we got home. Daebok in Southfield is way better for Korean bbq.
The place in Fountain Walk is called Kpot; I haven't been there and can't figure out their menu. It seems very involved. Bibimbab is in the Main Street building where Mongolian Grill is, by One World Market.
Dark Skies is telling my wife that are area is going to get like 15"-20" of snow between tonight and Saturday night. The Winter Storm Warning is suggesting like 3"-7".
And anyone typing up the joke about how many inches my wife is going to get can change it to DeToxRox's wife.
