Might be time for a new thread for reasons posted in the old one. If there are objections we can let this one die. #Green Bay Packers
You guys will have to bear with me, I don't have Harry Doyle/Uecker quotes as inspiration on thread titles like with the Brewers thread
For the new thread? If you searched "Packers" and checked thread titles only on tmb the old thread was on like page 8 of threads behind a bunch of game threads. This thread falls back off the first page a decent amount so finding it was a hassle.
They need Cobb to put in a good contract year and stay healthy. He is probably the 4th most critical piece of the offense. 1. 12 2. Bahktiari (they have no one else capable of playing lt) 3. Adams 4. Cobb The rest of the spots on offense I think there is depth so that while there may be a drop-off the offense can still function. Any of those four get hurt and the offense is just going to have to operate different.
It sucks that they are playing the Raiders feed and we don't get to listen to either Kevin Harlan or Wayne.
CB SHOULD flip from a weakness to a strength or the last two drafts are failures. Go get some passrush next year and we should have a legit defense for the late stage of Rodgers career. Getting a stud out of one of the three boom or bust receivers would be swell too.
Is Arden Key the one that on talent would have been a first rounder but was a fuckup? Or did he like the weed drugs too much?
I don't need to see any more Hundley. We know what he is. Play Kizer and see if he is better. End of story. This offense cannot function with nothing but checkdowns and 3 yard scrambles.
Hundley's pocket presence is so bad too. He loves moving to the spot that leaves him the most exposed to the passrush
Saw Rodgers was disappointed w Moore early in camp. He had a nice game last night. How has he been looking? Going to contribute this year?
If you ignored draft status he would be in trouble. I don't know that I see Gutekunst cutting a fourth round pick in his first draft.
