I will complain about the refs from time to time but it never truly pisses me off if they make a bad call or no call. Tonight’s BS by the refs pissed me off.
You can just pluck them off other practice squads and play them immediately. DL too. It's not that hard.
guys, less crying about calls pls usually all evens out in the end, don't think this is the last time we've seen Detroit this year draft 3+ CBs this year
The Enagbare one gets me the most upset. When a guy clearly wins off the line and is tugged from behind it should be the easiest call for the ref to make. And it feels like OPI practically happens every play and Watson was called on a play where he was doing it the legal way and got called. Some of those Lions ones were definitely arms extended. I'm actually agree that those were iffy at best but you can't swallow the whistle on those but flag Watson.
weirdly the regular season is basically over now, just avoid the 7 seed and we'll be OK get everybody healthy and win on the road 2010 style
This guy always looks at it plainly as who do they have signed and for how long. Luckily edge and DT are supposed to be strong this year. Originally CB was supposed to be but I think a lot of those prospects have fallen off. Kinda just need numbers at CB. Might be a year where they just throw 3 picks at the position starting in the second round.
I feel like there have been a few where context made the decision defensible where the models would say you have to go for it. I can't remember specifically when but I feel like I remember thinking the nerds are going to hate this but I get it
it's weird because this type of decision-making has been maybe the biggest weakness of the McVay/Shanny tree guys except MLF was excellent at it I still love MLF to death but we might need to take the red flag away lol
On the other hand, the game was already over. Might as well let them chase highlights. Saints were never scoring 20 points on us.
Stenavich could be a good head coach but probably / hopefully won't get a look because of Hackett and Getsy.
He's a guy who can coach. Many people at the packers a few years ago were saying he couldn't coach. At the time half the team was out injured. Covid was also going around.
No matter what happens this year, remember to enjoy this and don't take it for granted. This is a well run/built team that has a chance to do something fun. In other words, Sports are supposed to be fun. I hate the entitlement where anything short of a title must be served with consequences. Although hand in the air I am guilty of shit posting in the moment regularly. Merry Christmas, happy Kwanzaa, happy Hanukkah
A few more Lombardis would be nice but it is hard to complain about being a Packers fan for the past 25-30 years. Imagine being a Jets fan.
I hate when it ends badly for guys like Preston, but getting him out of the way for more productive reps from the young guys has been a revelation.
