This does feel like the kind of game that we'd always unexpectedly show up and play really well in. The Matt Flynn Patriots SNF game from a number of years ago as well as the Eagles MNF game that kicked off the run the table stretch. That said, I think times have changed and we've fallen farther behind other, more modern teams like the Rams. I'd be pretttttyy surprised to see us win.
Agreed, does have that feeling but I just don't think we have it in us this season. Almost decided to go to LA for the game. Glad I chose Vegas instead.
Oh course a ball bounces off our guys arm and lands right in the best players hands. Also shields foot sure looked like it was on the white line. The play calling back into the end zone was pure shit as well
I'd give up both first round picks and jerking it for a month for Sean McVay maybe even month and a half
cuz um the five times every game that we keep in an RB to block, he's only 98% as good as Jamaal I guess
Ty hasn't brought anything to the game No longer needed and had a horrible game of blocking on two 3rd downs Wouldn't mind if he was dropped
I’m so pissed at the play calling Jones should get the ball more, we ran one screen, and when we do run it’s the same 3 damn plus I feel like. We have some of the fastest WR and not one jet sweep.
And we will probably never know but if zook didn’t say “unless the coverage is parted like moses’ Red Sea take a fucking knee bc Rodgers has this” then he needs to never coach again
Should've been on the ST coaches to establish that and yell their fucking head off once the Rams kicker let it fly
Well there's that Ty Montgomery wouldn’t talk about his decision to take a kickoff out of end zone with 2:05 remaining Sunday. He left the locker room without commenting, via multiple reports. Montgomery, though, disobeyed coaches’ orders in not taking a knee. “The plan was to stay in [the end zone] and give the ball to Aaron Rodgers,” Packers coach Mike McCarthy said, via video from the team website. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.c...mery-told-to-take-touchback-if-it-was-option/
Between Mike’s horrendous play call from the 1 yard line and Ty I’ve never been more pissed about a loss in a couple of years. Packers were the better team yesterday. Defense played really fucking good, the offense was undone by some head scratching play calls and some dumb special teams at times. Mike has to go. Petrine stays on. With those young corners I like our future at secondary. If they find a pass rusher somehow? Good lord. But Fuck Ty, selfish asshole.
This isn’t ‘all’ Mike. I feel Rodgers makes some dumb decisions turning down certain throws, avoiding obvious checkeowns, and stuff at times. I also feel he does a lot of this to try and spite MM because the matchups are so dependent on winning 1 on 1 battles. Adams would be impossible to cover if you put him in McVey’s system. V-S emergence could keep Mike around though. That dude has some fucking wheels. I’m not sure how I feel about that.
I’m also on my 1+ year delayed honeymoon and I’m taking in the game next week at Pats (nyc up to Boston). Probably going to get beat up by a racist Pats fan.
PFF has HHCD as the 2nd-best safety this year, I was shocked to see that. I really thought his effort and performance were poor last year and somewhat this year too.
HaHa got traded due to his FA comments, going to miss him and we have no one to take his place really
