Brice and Whitehead are the starting safeties Ouch I do admire Gutes Don't want to be in GB then so long approach With that said, it's shit knowing we're rebuilding with Aaron Rodgers as our QB
In TT we trust Some bullshit rose colored glasses thinking I was guilty of Potentially start fresh with a new HC, which is slim pickings Retool the team and fix the defense devoid of talent Gute inherited TTs plugged holes with UDFAs and filled the roster with garbage
He hasn't actually been that good. Incredibly inconsistent. Caught out of position in coverage. Poor angle to tackle nowadays. Or just be lazy. 9 out of 10 plays you'll get a mixture of those with the 1 extra play being a turnover. Looks like he's been playing not to get hurt too.
Feels like this will be the season that breaks McCarthy. He will either give up play calling or risk his job.
I'm more pissed that Cain didn't win a Gold Glove than the Packers losing, which in turn makes me mad.
Unless I missed something MM just did a 30 second post game press conference, I’ve had to have missed something
he'll be fine I think Rodgers is at the part of his career that Favre was at before McCarthy was hired. Favre was no longer being coached and it showed in his play. I think McCarthy's gotten stale and can no longer get through to A-Rod. Bring in a bright offensive mind as coach whether that be Riley, Todd Monken, whoever and I think you'd see a renewed drive in Rodgers.
Rodgers isn't the problem, McCarthy's stale offense is. And one is much easier replaced than the other.
I'm with you guys, but it's not like a new coach is going to take away his freedom to change the play at the line and his decision making in that regard is getting bad. That 4th down run was surely 12's call.
