He has the most touchbacks in the NFL and he's been worth 0.1 yard gain in net punting It's not BJ Sander bad but it is still a waste of a pick
Well, thankfully this is over. Bring in a coach and hold Rodgers accountable. Use those picks and find a safety worth a damn and move up to get a rush end (or, you know, try harder for Mack..especially since the cap is going up again). Find some decent lineman for money to accompany David B. And Linsley.
More confident in Gute than late stage Ted. The last draft has been good, just wish Jackson could give us anything.
We drafted a long snapper, a punter, an ol that didn't even show up for camp, and Josh Jackson in the second. I'm hoping that some heavy lifting is done to fix the roster in free agency before we get to the draft. Cut Cobb, Graham, and Perry - maybe Clay. Sign a right guard, right tackle, a safety, and linebacker depth.
Turns out I posted that gif above in the wrong thread. Sorry guys, meant for the nature is scary thread.
I don't think Pagano would the worst hire. Not great, but they could do worse. I kinda want to see what Lincoln Riley could do with that Offense with some better receivers.
because nobody on the coaching staff has any balls As frustrating as this is, it cements that the whole staff will be gone and we'll get a better pick yay
got both, DEN and CIN both have good shots to win as well which would vault us up a spot for each that wins
Because this stupid fucking structure of Murphy being head of football. You think Philbin is going to sit Rodgers when he is working on his resume? Murphy running the show is going to be a disaster.
McDaniels is the current favorite Josh McDaniels +100 Matt LaFleur +250 Jim Caldwell +350 Dan Campbell +500 Mike Munchak +1000 Brian Flores +1000 Chuck Pagano +1500 Joe Philbin +2000
One of the “hottest” names in the coaching market only has one interview set up, and appears to be just fine with that. Raises the possibility that the interview might be only a formality, no?
I agree. I believe it's his job to accept or decline at this point. I think the other interviews the Packers have lined up are "just in case/let's not put all the eggs in one basket".
We should still interview a lot of people for self scouting purposes. Especially Fangio, and give him reason to think he has a legit shot.
