Great win but really sick of warm weather team receivers adjusting to cold better than ours (sans Adams & tonyan) actually maybe weather doesn’t have shit to do with it
ML is really fucking good at calling a game. A couple of missed from a 50 burger against the best defense in the league. Rodgers always had the talent, but mannnnn, ML has pushed the right buttons.
Geaux Saints I’d just rather make Brees play in the cold and possible snow. But agree with blind dog, beating the Bucs would be more satisfying. Especially for all the times they fucked us in the old NFC Central days.
If any of you have ill words for Ted, I hope you get a really bad paper cut. One of those right on the knuckle that never heals
Ted is the reason why we're at where we're at. Many of the team's main pieces are his doing. Wilde and Tausch both moved to tears this morning talking about how important the team was to Ted and how misdirected any sort of hate or disgust toward him was. Here's the audio: https://video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video/1352311270658220032/pu/vid/720x720/xj1KyYaPcrruiFRA.mp4?tag=10
People disliked his conservative approach with free agency and want to place blame somewhere for not winning more Super Bowls. You Know, because there is such a long list of franchises racking up bunches of Super Bowl trophies. That shit is hard and getting even one should not be taken for granted.
One of the most underrated qualities about Ted was his ability to see ‘stars’ and sign them to long-term deals before they completely bust out. - Aaron Rodgers extension first year starting. Turned into the best qb deal in the nfl within middle of next season. - David Bakhtiari’s first extension. By the time he was a top 3 tackle in the league I think I looked it up and he was being paid between 10-15 for LEFT tackles in football (not just all tackles) - Adams, he got extension in 2017. This year he currently is making over $14 million which places him at 15th in league. Guys like Aj Green making way more and the top guys in the league are making $27 million. - Corey Linsley is currently the 16th highest paid center in the nfl. He has been a top 10 center the entire contract and is the best in the nfl this year He also cut ties with a lot of dudes at the right time. Greg Jennings, Eddie Lacey, and I love these guys but Sitton & TJ Lang. Heyward would have been awesome & Hyde has continued to be good, but the amount of guys he resigned at the correct time compared to let go has to be about as good as anybody in the NFL.
In looking back at TT, I just want to give a shout out to Sam Shields and Nick Collins. Both up there with his overall greatest moves that feel like forgotten players. Collins was on his way to a seriously great career. Shields went from undrafted to a key piece on a super bowl winner.
Nick Collins with Woodson was as scary of a duo as I’ve seen in a secondary. You might find better pure cover players but I’d argue you aren’t going to find 2 people that scare a quarterback more on every single play with a potential to turn the game on its head with some great turnover. Collins injury could very well been the reason we didn’t win the super bowl in 2011. Offense finally couldn’t completely carry the defense that year.
i slept late af. Just had some pancakes with peanut butter & syrup and some sausage. Doubt I’ll eat again until after game
Making a pepper roast sammys and some smoked Mac and cheese for the game. Delivering at half time to other packer group. Been smoking since 9. Go pack, kick their fucking dicks in!
Pound of extra sharp cheddar then some assorted for another 1/2 pound. Use an assortment of what's in the fridge, nothing obscure, I think the extra sharp is the key.
