fuck yes, fuckkkkkk yesssss I don’t agree or disagree with this statement (I like Schneidman because he is an outsider and does a good job) but I’m just fucking happy to see some responses that don’t relate to this last offseason. Dusty is a great Packers follow. One of the best. He does a great job breaking down shit. I just avoided this thread for a while because this offseason was exhausting & covid was enough exhaustion for a long time. Didn’t need to over exhort myself with football until it got close.

I’m convinced Gary could be an absolute monster. He walked into a best case scenario & is (likely) a reason we can’t get too pissy on Gute who has seemed to done a pretty fucking good job drafting (last year had a ton of injuries but I think it could be really damn good. If Love hits....) Jaire is a top 3 corner in the league & Gary is potentially somebody that they can turn over it all too in the best fashion possible. Rodgers makes guys better (I’d like him to get weapons for sure, maybe a guy or two to placate him, but we don’t always need that...), what we likely realized today it had NOTHING to do with the draft but the exit with Rodgers. How it happened on the way out. This is KEY information to listen to going forward as a fan.

From the replays I saw he looked to do a pretty good job of not getting ‘happy’ in the pocket and went through his progressions. He doesn’t have Rodgers arm strength, but that pass to Sternburger was a great combination of being on a rope but enough touch to carry over the linebacker? (Can’t remember who, but between safety and somebody underneath on coverage). everything I heard about the line sounded bad. Think we might have absolutely got a steal Hill in the seventh round.

Jerry World would have still had a good percentage of Saints fans. With all the Wisconsin transplants in Florida it will be a healthy Green Bay crowd like we see at Tampa Bay games.
So, I want Jenkins to kill it at left tackle because that’s good for the team, but I’m starting to think about it .... If he does, you best believe he will want tackle money instead of guard money in contract extension (which is only 2 years away). I’m kind of guessing they were hoping to keep him there till the end of this year and sign a deal and move him out to right tackle. **does my theory have any merit? Or am I flying off the rails??**
I've thought about that too. On the other hand, he'll probably use Nelson as a comp and slot in behind that which will probably be outrageous obits ow so it might not matter. I don't think it's any accident that we've drafted so many o lineman the last couple years.
I think it’s no accident Z isn’t getting a new contract. They are hoping Gary hits and they know they need to lockdown Jaire. They are going to have to hope the cap jumps a ton but I also think they don’t want to lose Jenkins. I believe they think he is a top 10 lineman already and his versatile nature could make him a top 5 most *valuable.* It’s kind of why I’m shocked Jones got a contract even if I love him. also why Rodgers is for sure gone
