Papi's Tacos is solid. Better than Local Taco. Tuesdays they have all tacos for $2 each at Papi's. Best tacos in the upstate are at Willy Taco in Spartanburg.
Second the Willy Taco. Went there a couple of weeks ago. Got the chimichanga. Was magnificent, deep fried goodness.
Ended up going to Gringos the first night and Bacon Bros the second night and Trappe Door the second night
Yeah it was our audible when we wanted more traditional brunch. Not bad. Not open on Saturdays though which was always weird
Their hours are dumb. Like lunch and early bird dinner, then Sunday's for brunch. Or something like that
always wanted to try, dating back to them as a food truck which reminds me, Neue Southern was probably the most innovative best food I had in the state and they're killing it here in Portland now that they moved. getting national write ups in eater
Yeah this would be dinner with clients. Doesn't need to be super Fancy but I don't want to eat at Applebee's
Sobys is good. Just be glad you didn't go to Rick Erwin's, although clients may be impressed by the atmosphere
We're the visitors in this scenario, so it's their call I guess. Anyway--hoping to be done early so I can drink a brew dog with HOOSINSC
Ah. Well, enjoy it. I would be in your general vicinity right now if I didn't have a sick kid napping on my chest.
Went to Augusta Grill about two weeks ago. I was the only black dude in there except for the cook. Was pretty good food.
Blume - The Merry Sweep (864) 232-9811 The guy is a bit quirky, comes with the job I'd imagine, but seemed fair and honest to me. Just say you were referred by a friend.
Called him. Definitely has a quirky outgoing message. Said he is not nearly as ornery in person as he is on his message. Told him jac3672 referred me.
Went to trappe door tonight for the first time. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Good beers. Only a block or so from my office. Will be back.
I'm moving into town on Jan 1st. I was looking for a two bedroom place in maybe the northeast part of town. Any areas to avoid looking into?
http://www.thecommunitytap.com Anyone been there? My brother said it was pretty cool the last time he was in Greenville.
Hey guys, I'd just like to point out I stayed in your city for one night before the ND/Clemson game. It seemed nice besides the 16 inches of rain. Thanks
I would advise to try to look more in the downtown to Augusta St area if you're in the young professional category. Unless of course you're from up north, then please stick to the Greer area.
On my own for dinner tonight. I want to try a new place for some takeout. Was thinking about Pho 99 on Wade Hampton to try one of these Vietnamese sandwiches TMB seems to love so much. But I am open to any and all suggestions
If you are going to get Vietnamese, Mekong is definitely the best place to go. It's on Wade Hampton too near Wade Hampton high school.
I'm in Dacusville...~10 miles west of Gville. I go through Berea every day...I highly recommend the area
Sorry just now seeing this. Did you go? Their Banh Mi's are awesome. Pretty much everything I have had was great though. They have their own garden behind the restaurant where they grow all of their herbs and spices.
http://nymag.com/travel/weekend-esc...al&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer Good article. Thoughts from any of the locals? My brother was there this week and got out yesterday before the big snow hit I guess.
