Any one know of any open data analyst positions in the Greenville area? Currently out of work and looking.
Been in charleston. It's legit. Nothing but glowing reviews from the folks I know that have been to the greenville location.
Sitting at this pour house place downtown that has these automated taps with a shitload of beer options. I've never seen anything like it although I am old and out of it so it may be commonplace these days. It's totally self service. Wife and I are headed to lazy goat for dinner tonight. Pretty pumped
Yeah I ended up eating there. As good a steak as I've ever had in my life, and the sides were topnotch.
Duly noted. This weekend marks us being here for 1 year, and we haven't really been able to hit as many good restaurants as we wanted to thus far as we have a 2 1/2 year old. We were between lazy goat, sobys and American grocery for dinner tonight. I pulled the trigger for lazy goat. I would say right now my favorite place is trappe door.
If you haven't been to Sobys, try the bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin with garlic mashed and broccolini. That is a fine meal.
A Biscuit Head opens in Greenville tomorrow over by the new apartments on Church Street. http://www.biscuitheads.com/menu-greenville/
http://www.tennessean.com/story/travel/2016/10/30/greenville-sc-thrives-hip-urban-core/92685496/ Greenville, S.C. thrives with hip urban core Forty or 50 years ago, mills ran two or three shifts a day in many Southern towns, making shirts, socks and towels — textiles of every kind. And then the mills began to close, and the textile towns that dotted the Southern landscape had to search for new identities. The folks in Greenville, South Carolina, saw it coming, and a city that could have been a “used to be” has created a hip urban core that includes green space, shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. Officially, there are 30 cities and towns in the United States called Greenville. To distinguish itself from all the others, the city in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of upstate South Carolina refers to itself as “Yeah, THAT Greenville.” And THAT Greenville is a great choice for a long weekend trip, especially in the fall.
Tried out Toss tonight. Didn't think I had room for another pizza joint in the rotation, but it stood alone enough to fit in there with Tito's, Sidewall, and late night Bertolo's. Sweetwater bottles and drafts were $3 for happy hour.
kind of agree. I mostly just post the articles I come across in case someone is visiting and searches this thread.
I'd give the edge to Sidewall because their crust is better, but it's close. We ordered the Margherita and another one with sausage and peppadew peppers. Two totally different styles/tastes. I love peppadew peppers on pizza, and they're the first that I've seen have them in town. Tito's is the usual go to for the wife and I.
Halls Chophouse for dinner last night was delicious. Had a breakfast meeting this morning at Caviar and Bananas. Cool spot.
This is such a bad headline Was in town this week. Every time I visit there is new development or changes. Crazy the growth.
Greenville is so much nicer than when I was in high school. Downtown has shit to do now besides going to Coffee Underground and then arguing with your friends over who owes what because Coffee Underground are bunch of assholes that will not split a check.
Went there once. The bowling pins are on strings from above and was kinda weird. More like toy bowling sets but still an OK place.
Know a guy wanting to open a Korean BBQ and Ramen place but apparently the guys from Stamp Brewery told him it was a bad idea.
In town for the weekend with the gf. gf. fan of the downtown area here so far. Ate at lemongrass thai place last night, biscuithead for breakfast, handi Indian for lunch right now, which I think tastes amazing. Any recs for dinner suggestion?
Trappe Door (recommend the duck) and then head upstairs to top floor of Barley’s for beers afterwards. Can’t go wrong with Husk or Jianna. Velo Fellow another good night spot for drinks and music.
