I was planning on skipping to kickoff, but those opening ceremonies were pretty damn cool. That caused me to watch the first half of this game on delay too. Have not read all the thread, but points from the first game and a half: 1. This is a shit tier group. It really really is. 2. If a team has a creator/distributor, they will destroy Mexico. South Africa had at least three open chances for shots from the wing, but their mids went to the opposite side. I mean COMPLETELY open shots. 3. Amazing that the announcers didn't know the rule 4. Draw seems like the equitable result from the first game. RSA certainly is not the better squad, but Mexico played really poorly. 5. Glad to see that early yellow for delay and the warning for the flop along the sideline. Bodes well for the tournament 6. From the second game: These two teams should both advance and Uruguay is the type of team that could give Argentina some trouble in the knockout stage. 1-0 games can always go either way. 7. Franck is ugly.
