Let’s set the over on days before an unruly black student is killed because the teacher feared for his life at ten days
Came to post this “free to buy a weapon of war, but NOT free to look out my window in the Windy City.” -me “That’s a good trade off lib cuck” - the gop
from a BradyPAC email Prospector, Last week, a 3-year-old boy in Missouri shot his 10-month-old brother with a gun he found in his grandmother’s purse. You probably haven’t seen this horrifying story on the news because shootings like this have become an EVERYDAY occurrence in America. In a healthy society, a tragedy like this would elicit shock and outrage. But for Americans, stories like these are so frequent that most will NEVER know it even happened. This HORRIFYING story isn’t considered “newsworthy” because 321 Americans are being shot EVERY DAY. And out of these victims: → 91 are shot unintentionally. → 42 are murdered. → 65 die from gun suicide. → and 7 will be children. We have the power to stop these tragedies and save lives by electing new leaders, but we can’t do it without your support.
The whole, you can carry a gun anywhere you like except where we work, policy kinda gives the game away.
Asked my co-worker's weekend went. She sat down and said crazy and sad. 1/2 block down from her house a 15 year old homeless kid had been taken in by an older couple from her church. Kid shot the older man, went outside for a bit, walked back in and shot the older lady. Then on Saturday night her nephew in Dallas was shot in the neck and face at a gas station.
Wasn’t sure where to post this, but figured since the origin of all of this was Parkland, this thread worked fine. Awesome job by Elton. Very very cool.
Yeah, the lyric “Ballerina You must've seen her Dancing in the sand And now she's in me Always with me Tiny dancer in my hand” Will always hit differently now.
So have a good friend. Known him for 20 years. He was in my wedding. As time has gone on, he has headed more right as I have headed left. He has gone pretty far right but never jumped on the MAGA train. Borderline libertarian. But anyways, he started having depression over the summer. He and his family were needing some extra money this past summer so several times I had him come help me for the day and paid him extremely well. One occasion he mentioned to me he had a severe depression episode and idealize suicide on that occasion. I told him, “when we get back to my house, I want to put the pistol you are carrying in my safe. Then I want to follow you to your house and get all your other guns and put them in my safe. Then you can continue to work with your counselor and when you have made it 6 months without another thought like that, you can get the guns back from me. I do not want them in your house with you, your wife, and 2 kids until you get this figured out.” Of course he would not do it. That is not what a freedom loving, Rogan listening, Gadsden Flag waiving, militia cosplaying, alpha male would do. I did ask him to definitely give me a call if he had the thoughts again. He said he would. So I get a call from him last night. He did not hold up to his end of the bargain. He had another episode a month ago, and it was worse, and he did not call. He told me he thought of our conversation, which was done very respectfully, and considered calling me. But he somehow did something better. He immediately went out and sold all of his guns. He then used that money to help his family with their current financial struggles. Also figured out one of many reasons his family was having financial struggles. So anyways, felt like the best thread to park this anecdotal story. If you have people in your life that love guns, do yourself and them a favor by talking with them as a fellow human about gun storage & safety.
TSA Discovers Huge Anti-Tank Weapon In Checked Luggage At Texas Airport Spoiler By Dani Medina January 17, 2023 KENS5. The owner of the case did not declare any firearm to the airline, which prompted it to be confiscated. It's unclear where the passenger was flying to. "We don't see that caliber of weapon very often, thank god," the TSA spokesperson said. This kind of weapon, the Carl Gustaf rifle, is one of the most portable anti-tank weapons. Weapons experts told KENS5 the confiscated weapon "might actually contain a replica Carl Gustaf rifle or an inert display gun." Replica guns can be checked without declaring it to the airline, but they can't fly with these items that resemble explosives. It's unclear if it's allowed to fly with a fake anti-tank weapon of this kind. In Texas, it's legal to own an anti-tank rifle as long as the owner registers it with the ATF and passes extensive background checks. They can also fly with these weapons, but they need to follow TSA's policies for transporting firearms. Furthermore, guns can be checked at the airport as long as "they're not loaded, stored in a hard-sided container, and if the owner has declared the gun's presence to their airline," KENS5 reports. "It's really alarming for anyone who wants to travel with that kind of weapon to not follow the rules that are set. They're not difficult. They're not a secret," the TSA spokesperson said. It's unclear whether the owner of the weapon has been charged with a crime. San Antonio police have taken over the case.
Remember the Texas mass shooting that spawned this thread? No, not that one Or that one Not that one either ... Etc
Your first statement was “guns deescalate situations” not “morons believe guns make you safer” when asked by multiple people to clarify your statement, you continue to say “guns deescalate situations”.

I hope all of you find someone who loves you as much as this dumb fuck gun nuts love their guns Felon Tried To Board Flight With An AR-15, Fake U.S. Marshal Badge By Bill Galluccio February 28, 2023 A man trying to fly from Newark Airport in New Jersey to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was arrested after several guns were discovered in his luggage. In an unsealed complaint, prosecutors from the Department of Justice revealed that TSA uncovered gun magazines, ammunition, and a ballistic vest carrier during a routine check of checked luggage. The bag belonged to Seretse Clouden, and agents found him waiting at the gate to board his flight. The rest of his luggage was removed from the plane, and the TSA agents uncovered an ASP expandable baton, a spring-loaded knife, a taser, a .40 caliber Glock 22 handgun, a .308 caliber DPMS Panther Arms rifle, and a 5.56 caliber AR-15 rifle, which the Justice Department said meets the definition of a machine gun. They also found forged “United States Marshal” credentials with Clouden’s name and photograph and a “United States Marshal” badge. He was taken into custody and charged with unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition by a convicted felon and fraudulent possession of an identification document and authentication feature of the United States. Officials did not say why Clouden had the guns and fake credentials in his bags.
https://abc7.com/child-shot-killed-...d-shoots-4-year-old/12947890/?utm_source=fark HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -- A 4-year-old girl died after she was accidentally shot by her 3-year-old sister in a Houston-area home, officials say. The shooting happened Sunday evening at an apartment complex in northwest Harris County, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. Investigators believe the two sisters were home in the apartment with five adults, including their mother and stepfather. The adults believed at least one of them was watching the girls, when they were in fact unsupervised in a bedroom, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez Somehow the 3-year-old got a hold of a loaded semi-automatic pistol and accidentally shot her 4-year-old sister. The child was pronounced dead at the scene. "It just seems like another tragic story of a child gaining access to a firearm and hurting someone else. This time it was a fatal shot - appears to be to her sibling," Gonzalez said. Gonzalez urges people to ensure their guns are stored where kids cannot reach them, especially entering spring break week, when more kids will be at home. 'You've got to make sure you're a responsible gun owner. Secure your weapons in a safe place. It's got to be more than just to tell the kids not to touch the weapons," Gonzalez said. Officials said it is not clear at this point if anyone will face charges.
A 3 year old can shoot a 4 year old in Texas and nobody is sure if anybody did something wrong legally? This. Country. Sucks. Shit.
