I finally got a triple kill. Played a bunch last night and had a blast. Pretty impressed so far.

Started diamond 1. I’m at onyx 1720 now. I used to play a lot of halo.

I’m always reticent to play multiplayer alone, I don’t know why

 

I can’t get it to install on PC. Takes me to a preorder screen even tho it says it’s installed.

well, restarted my PC now it says I have an update, so maybe that's the fix.

Campaign is pretty fun once you get to the sandbox part

 

The grappling hook is so good for traversal. Using trees to pull yourself forward is the best, as well as the ground.

 

I’m loving the fuck out of this

 

I need to play more, nothing really wows me, but nothing also has me screaming wtf except online where it seems like everybody is a bullet sponge except myself

 

Is the game not allowing anyone else to buy the battle pass? Just gives me an error every time

 

Just finished the 10 ranked games and settled at platinum 5. Oh well.

 

I really hope this is true. I went through the first chapter and it was a bore for me. I’ll keep going at least and thank God for game pass.

I was having fun before the sand pit part. A bit repetitive it felt like but I kind of enjoy that. It had a lord of the rings shadows of Mordor feel to it.

Capture the Flag is mentally draining. Playing Cap on the big sand temple map with the vehicles is legitimately the worst online shooter mode and map combo I can think of out of all the FPS games I've played in the past few years.

Love the rest of the game. Just need to tone down the % of ranked games that are Cap the flag. Feel like out of every 10 games I get 2 Slayer, 2 Oddball and 6 Caps.

 

i like CTF. slayer is the worst

 

different strokes. playing 4-5 games in a row of cap is awful for me.

also got an elite controller. Those back paddles do help but I accidentally press them a lot.

What's your setup?

 

I use 3 for Halo. One for jump, one for sprint, one for slide. Rarely use the 3rd for sprint. I'm more a fan of just 2 paddles.

 

P2 crouch P4 jump

although might switch those to P1 and P3. I’m also a fan of only two

 

sometimes it's just better to accept the reality than fight it.

 

You'll get used to it. Was the main reason I got gud at BF1 coming over from PC. Hadn't played a FPS on console since goldeneye

 

Can’t even casually play this game with the amount of sweaty rubes populating every game. Have played three game today and the other team’s top player went 15-3 and 18-2, and 20-3

Just saw the first episode of the Paramount series. I was pleasantly surprised.

Some dodgy CGI and I don’t think they’re reinventing the wheel here, but it was entertaining enough.

Popped pretty hard for the shield recharge sound.

 

I’m pretty addicted again, having flashbacks to Halo 3
