Trump has never won a debate, he's been dogwalked every single time. He won a presidency and nearly got a second save for several thousand votes in key states, and he's 49.99/50.01 this time around. QED, ergo, vis a vis, debates don't demonstrably matter.
i think looking back on it, he very clearly won the debate in june even if it ends up being an overall loss for him by doing so
I'm not sure what Trump winning a debate even looks like so it's hard to say that it matters. Maybe he reminds everyone what a nutcase he is and that helps her???
Remember when ted cruz called him an elitist new yorker that isnt a real american like all texans are and then trump was like "we all came together during 9/11 and I was there" and cruz clapped for him? Or when liddle marco said trump was corrupt and trump was like "me and my friends constantly buy politicians like you," and jeb gave him a high five on stage? trump isnt quick enough to do that anymore but him winning in gop debates usually looked like him personally humiliating a bunch of wormy men with no self-respect. And them thanking him for it. This, i have no idea

Continuing to look like both sides expect PA to be the tipping point (this is a duh, but I still find it interesting). The NC and NV numbers are a little surprising.
Also, we are LESS than two weeks from the first ballots being cast. Breaking it down: Five states begin in-person early voting in September: Pennsylvania (Sept. 16), Minnesota (Sept. 20), Virginia (Sept. 20), Vermont (Sept. 21), and Illinois (Sept. 26). And the first ballots to go out should be tomorrow, North Carolina (where RFK is trying to halt the send so his name can be removed so his new daddy can stand a better chance of winning).
I find it interesting that PA is the state where statewide officials are least likely to help Trump, yet he’s placing all his eggs in that basket
Kamala has the money to broaden the map, Dems often have polling errors in their direction in states with high minority populations as well so it's good use of $$$ not really, they just don't have the money to do anything but go all in on the most likely path he has and can't play any type of secondary options
Love to see that dems are kinda tired of the "everything depends on PA" mantra. Get the fuck after GA snd NC. Now you're not automatically fucked if PA goes down
Some weird superpac is running Anti Collin Allred (Lyin Ted’s opponent) ads about him causing the “border crisis” during the football game and they’re definitely making his skin look darker than it is when they show him.
I assume it’s a national or regional ad, but the one with Kamala talking about high prices side by side with her saying “That’s Bidenomics” is annoyingly good
I saw "Louie Vega" listed and wondered for a moment why the hell Mambo No. 5 guy was relevant enough to be considered for anything.
Based on what we’ve seen to date, Louie Vega would be a significant upgrade in relevance over any celebrity the GOP trots out there.
Lou Bega story: one random weekday night during the height of the Mambo #5 era, the Dodgers had Lou Bega as an after the game concert event. Most weekday nights I'd say about 1/4 of the stadium leaves early because getting out of the parking lot is a mess + LA traffic and people have to get up early to work. That night though the crowd mostly remained and as a kid I just thought it was odd. My family would always stay until the end of the game cuz my dad was like 'I paid for the ticket we are seeing the whole game'. Anyway. Game ends, stadium is mostly full and Lou Bega trots out and everyone just boos the fuck out of him. People stayed just to boo him, impressive dedication to hate.
How did this story not explode? Literally admitting to capitalizing on inflation and raising prices more than inflation to drive profits.
