People are hypocrites. People lie about what they say they care about. Powerful people do this more than regular people only because they can get away with it. Republicans have POS congressmen who tell their mistresses to get abortions, Democrats take money and party with people who assault and degrade women. It doesn't have anything to do with your party or ideology, it has to do with people being awful.

interesting. I could see Damon not really knowing the level to which Harvey had gone, and going to bat for him. I could also see him knowing more than he is saying. It will be interesting to see if any more comes out, that implicates anyone else who had real knowledge of what was going on. it's amazing to read that he had so many people who were covering for him. An entire team that woudl deliver young actresses to him, then let him do his thing, then console, or threaten them to be quiet. It was not hidden within that group at all, it seems, they all knew what was going on, and were willing to participate in it. I hope thy can track them all down and punish them all for their roles. If that include Matt Damon, so be it, no matter how much I love Jason Bourne.
People can rationalize things to themselves, and they can prevent themselves from knowing every ugly detail. I wouldn't be surprised if people like Damon knew he was a pig but didn't know, or didn't want to know, he was a predator. The people who delivered the girls to his apartment or bailed on the meetings once the girls got comfortable are truly disgusting human beings.
