I don't know how any actors can get through crusher lines like that. I would fucking die. Ricky Gervais is like that....takes him like 20 takes to get a shot without him breaking.
Just watched it, really glad I did. There were so many scenes where I just lost it... I cant think of a recent comedy that comes close to this, thats not saying much, I know.
After reading this thread last night my roommates and I watched this. I'd seen it but they hadn't. Hilarious. My favorite joke is the soft rock he constantly cruises around to in his Miada. That and his car stereo. "Can I take you coat? Well then can I take your car radio?" "Nice try"
great movie. watched it over the weekend because of this thread and couldn't stop laughing. recommended it to friends who of course simply laughed at me, but hopefully they'll see the light and will watch the movie a couple of my favorite lines that i haven't seen mentioned in here (i dont think) were when cunth would "trick" macgruber "yeah see i had assembled the best team ever but then i put them all in a room and it exploded from the hand made c4 i had put in there" "NO WAY?!?! we are so similar!! i did nearly the exact same thing!" or when macgruber doesn't realize cunth was the one writing the manifesto "I'm being framed! I dont know who wrote that but you gotta believe me Cunth, it wasn't me!"
I can't stop thinking about that scene now, I mean they literally spent 20 minutes building up each of his buddies and showing their comradery and kick assness, then they all blew up and his reaction is priceless

true I do like her. I actually like many of the cast members too, the show just fucking sucks. They must've lost a bunch of writers in the early-mid 2000's or something cause the show just went to hell after that.
It really just isn't funny at all anymore...they have some promises cast members now but the show itself is a far cry than what it was in the 70-90's
Loved the line where he walks up to the bartender and asks him "what do you know about the x5?" and before the guy can even answer, he slams his head into the bar and says "He doesn't know shit!". Awesome scene.
when macgrube tricks cunths goons into goin to the main control room and they open the door and a tiny cup of water spills on them and the guy with his fingers taped up giving them with the finger and the sign that say "your all wet" hahaha was gold
