fucking right i did... with a 3 mph wind in my face... my kicker has like 97 power and only a sophomore.
My kicker has just missed two 61 yard field goals. Both were my fault. I'd say I probably need to turn down the kick power a bit.
U guys do have some pretty bad ass kickers. I have a 89 overall black Freshman kicker named Reggie Roby. Born and raised in beautiful East Waterloo. Indiana is awful. True Freshman sensation McNeal has two kickoff returns for TD's as Michigan routes Indiana 94 to 10. I even simmed the 4th quarter.

My kicker has 99 kicking power, so it's not like I'm singling people out. It would hurt me just as much. The thing is, 60+ yard field goals are extremely unrealistic in college. Bruns, I'm sending those Turtle Beaches out today. I'm throwing in a surprise for you too.
I have like 2 successful 60 yard field goals in this years game... they're pretty much impossible against a human opponent. and they're not the easiest thing to make. any slight move of the joystick on the way up will make the kick be missed. and i thought you were giving me the turtle beach?
Well obviously a 60 yarder isn't easy to make and they really shouldn't be. They probably shouldn't happen at all is what I'm saying, especially against a supposed 3 MPH wind. I'll keep the kick power where it is though if it's that big of a deal. Was just going to turn it down a notch or two to make things a little more realistic. Also, I believe I said I'd let you try the Beaches out to see if you liked them, but I've been openly offering to sell them for cheap to my friends who play Xbox for awhile now. If Bruns didn't buy them I would have probably just listed them on eBay.

I actually like the kick power the way it is. Something just feels awesome about hitting a 50+ yarder. My freshman kicker has 95 kick power I think. Beast.
personally i don't have a problem with it at 8 teams... if we can get 2 quality members then i'm all for it... but we haven't exactly had a great track record of people lasting very long.
This, I like the guys that are in here now, yes I've had my run ins with some of you but thats been it, nothing that has ever carried on for longer than a day. Seems like when we get a new guy here or there they come in with some questionable play or never seem to last long. So I say we just cut our losses and stick with what we got, schroeds might be coming back also. Chief I have some turtle beaches I would be willing to sell to you for a good price. They are the wireless ones and the only problem is if you don't have your headphone jack in at just the right spot it makes some feedback noise. Other than that they work fine. I think I bought them for 90 or 100, but I would be willing to let them go for $25.

Well, I blew that game against Bib. Switched to my safety on a touchdown run and completely missed the running back. So stupid.
My third string Freshman QB Monte Kennedy looks like the real deal. Brought him in for the 4th quarter... made some good, accurate throws, and he has good running ability. My starter finally threw a touchdown pass, three as a matter of fact, and the best part is he didn't even throw any picks. Also, my secondary is going to be damn good in a few years. I've had very good corners in my last two recruiting classes. Now if only you assholes would quit taking all the good safeties I'm in on. Probably start running a lot more dime as well. Bruns is going to be so fucked when he tries to throw a pass to his halfback in the flats and one of my speedy corners house it.
just experienced another glitch, this time in my favor. Oklahoma State had kicked a field goal, and was short. Williams returns it out to the 50 yard line. As he gets tackled, the flag flies in for a clipping (surprise, surprise) so Oklahoma State accepts the penalty, and the ball is moved FORWARD 15 yards.
#4 Ohio State blows out #5 Oklahoma State 54-7. Jamar Pleasant has a huge day going 7-7 in field goals. including kicks from 60 and 63 yards.
I won the game 34-7 and after the game it decides to freeze on me. Can't believe I bought an xbox, not worth it in my opinion. My running back went for 222 yards, 4 td's and two catches for 36 yards. Tired of this.
If you bought an Xbox for this one game then no, it's not worth it. Four 60 yarders for one guy, especially this early in the season, is ridiculous. Turning it down a notch.
Right now, it's the only reason I have an xbox until I have money to buy more games and when we move into our new house.
