HBO max app is trash, apparently across all platforms. I can tell you on the nvidia shield there is a memory leak that causes the whole system to become unresponsive, on top of that only 4K for theater movies, just garbage

 

It works very well on both my chromecast devices
Never had a single issue at all with it since I went that route

 

Liked the Woodstock 99 doc

 

It’s not bad on Apple TV once they went back to using the default Apple TV video player instead of their own, which made the app completely useless for like a week or so.

 

I would have been lucky to last a week in WWII, especially if I was deployed during the winter. I'd die in like a day from weather exposure in the winter, my body does not handle the cold well at all.

 

That Woodstock doc should come with a fucking trigger warning. My anxiety was spiking the whole time

 

Mentioned Band of Brothers…so I started watching again. Forgot what a complete asshole Private Cobb was. All your hate is directed at Sobol and Dike…you forget he was a fake tough guy asshole the entire time

 

I saved Band of Brothers episodes 1-3 on my DVR some time ago and rewatch them periodically. Tonight I made the mistake of Googling Damian Lewis, the actor who plays Dick Winters. It turns out he’s English. It’s quite the letdown tbh.

 

Enjoying the Paranormal Cop show. Decent to really good depending on episode. Episode 3 was fantastic

Me and three of my buddies ordered the PPV and ran a cable from his parent’s house to the garage and set up shop to watch all three days (he lived out out in the country and it was a huge detached garage with a pool, fire pit and outdoor kitchen next to it). We had a blast.

I remember the fires the last night, but I had no idea what an absolute train wreck the event was.

Just saw HBO Max app pop-up on my LG. That’s a relief because it runs like shit on the PlayStation.

 

I’ve had it on the LG tv for a little while now. I was running it through a roku. Same clunkiness, but better than the PlayStation.

 

I read that they’re going to completely redesign the app by the end of the year as they just built this one from the old HBO Go app.

 

They added the Stanley Tucci Italy series from CNN and I’ve just adored watching it again

 

Watched a couple episodes yesterday. Absolutely amazing.

Oh for sure, I've been casting since last year. I just get the worst lag sometimes from my phone, 4k isn't always guaranteed either. App I hope will be a lot better experience.
