Nice little old-school tech death EP from the french Canadians in CHTHE'ILIST. I have no clue what is going on in that album art but it looks cool as hell. Their 2016 full length Le Dernier Crépuscule is really great if you haven't checked it out before.
the production could be better. but that riff at ~3:00. my god. riffs like that make all the time listening to mediocre or bad albums/bands worth it.
Saw chon, conquering dystopia, and aal and there was like 30 people in an 800 person venue. Best show ive ever been to. i even got to stand by the stage, which i never do bc im not an asshole.
Give me Black Fast I listened to Terms of Surrender again today while I was at work. My coworkers remain uninterested. I'll keep you guys updated.
I will send you a pack of beer or something to your preferred address if it comes way early. I ordered mine through Amazon instead of their label because I am impatient and an asshole Also Prime is good
I never buy discs from Amazon, way too many bootlegs, including ones fulfilled by Amazon themselves. There was an article about it a few years back, I've also experienced it first hand when I use to order from them.
Sarcasm? I'm too old to tell anymore. http://www.completemusicupdate.com/article/almost-25-of-cds-on-amazon-could-be-counterfeit/
there is no seller information motherfuckers when i buy albums, it's typically either direct from the band's merch site or from Music Millennium in Portland
Back in the 90's I would make a trip down there every week, religiously. Dude in there would just start putting those boxes out right when I walk in the door. Do they still have all their metal cds in boxes behind the counter?
I've given the Khemmis album some heavy listening over the past two weeks or so. If you're judging it by the standards of Hunted, it's just a miss for me. They tried to do some prog thing that just didn't work for me. They do have some big guitar harmonies in the last song on the album that I like, though. also there's a big guitar solo, which i also like.
they should have asked me to "arrange" their album or whatever, and my answer would have been more big guitar harmonies like Hunted i've probably listened to Hunted 100 times at this point, and it's still not old to me
They definitely should have checked with you first rather than risking upsetting 50% of their fan base. Actually they appear to be fairly popular so that wasn't fair. What the hell is this?
I've spent over a grand on metal this week, not sure what is wrong with me. Sell a bunch of cds to make room for... more cds.
Cheesy power metal because it's Monday and I needed soemthing uplifting to get me through the day in a positive mood.
Heavy music related: I purchased a block letter 5150 amp. Used on untold number of heavy as hell records. I'll be chugga chugging in my home office like a proper old fuck.
Nice. That’s about what I’m doing these days. Not in a band or anything currently but I still like to jam out. I have a Mesa Boogie full stack tube amp. The regular distortion is great but every once in a while I add one of those modded out metal zone pedals into the mix.
If I could remember how to upload to metaltracker I'd put it up. You're dealing with a GenXer, my computer skills are lacking.
