    Worked out for a hour and weighed in at 214.8

    Alright fellas. I did the opposite of most of you. I kept up my diet and gym routine (just got back from the gym and just weighed in now). For myself I didn’t want to “bulk up” for the contest. If I end up losing because of it, eh whatever haha.

    That says 356.2lbs. It’s cropped cause I ain’t showing y’all my ugly ass toes.

    I’m down 83.8lbs since I started losing weight on 10/23 (77 Days).

    For reference here is a Day 1/Day 77 side by side comparison.

    Low calorie, gym everyday, and I completely cut out everything that I did that was bad for me. No more soda, no late night meals, intermittent fasting.

    I used MFP for a while but I found tracking everything myself on a calendar has helped even more.

    If it was a different time of year (I.e not the holidays) I think I’d be over 90lbs lost by now. I was just happy to maintain throughout the holidays.

    I didn’t want to do any specific diet because I knew there was no way in hell I was going to give up everything I enjoyed.

    That said I’ve had very little sugar, I don’t really drink at all anymore (with a few exceptions of partys I’ve gone to). I don’t meal prep either. Making myself make food everyday has been so much better.

    And truth be told the thing that’s helped the most is probably my mentality. Before I started this I wasn’t in the best state of mind. Not that I was depressed or anything but I just didn’t feel as good as I wanted to. Either mentally or physically. And one thing is for sure. I’m not going back to that.

    So lately I’ve done a lot more lifting/circuit training. I started with pretty much just cardio but I have tendinitis in my left knee so the bike makes it act up, the elliptical hurts it, jogging isn’t too bad. I just fucking hate running. Even when I was playing sports in high school I never liked running.

    I also now need to change gyms because I’m starting to max out most of the machines at planet fitness.

    It’s pretty funny when I go to the leg press with 600+ on it and the 60 yr old women are like wtf as I do that with ease hahaha.

    Snacked on some natural almonds for breakfast and snack. I need to grocery shop tonight. Better than grabbing fast food so I will take the win.

    Lunch I ate half of a chicken breast and a piece of the leftover steak with a bag of cauliflower rice. And what do you know, they are on sale at the moment.

    I’ve learned that it keeps me sane to mix in occasional “bad” foods to keep me sane. I’ve lost weight QUICKLY by eating only lean shit, being regimented as fuck, and then cheating a day a week. Unfortunately, when I would restrict so hard, I would feel the need to eat EVERYTHING IN SIGHT on the cheat day, which then became days.

    Big fan of cheat meal(s) as opposed to days. Give myself 2 cheat meals a week, one lunch one breakfast. Never dinner because then I’m just sitting on the couch the rest of the night and not burning it off.

    I don't do cheat days either, but WW allows weekly points that you can budget and technically allows you to earn points for exercise that could be eaten.

    So like on Wild Card Saturday we had people over and I ate sweets and had a couple tortillas with the taco bar instead of lettuce wraps and I went 4 points into my weekly budget of 42. No big deal, I haven't touched a weekly budget in like a month and likely won't again for awhile. And I hadn't eaten much earlier in the day in anticipation.

    It's just about tracking, staying close to your plan, and not beating yourself up when you enjoy your life like a normal person. You will probably still lose if you're following the plan 95% of the time as long as the 5% isn't totally unreasonable. Don't throw away a good week of work over having a moment of weakness and then letting that snowball into a week of weakness.

    I rarely feel shame, but I felt it this morning. I weigh five pounds more than I did when I started the last Biggest Loser. I’ve gained 35 pounds since August. What a waste.

    Ah well. Nothing I can do but get back on the grind.

    Super easy. Everything is searchable, there is some give and take where some healthier things are free points and unhealthy food is high points. You can eat as much as you want of fruit, veggies, fat-free Greek yogurt, egg, chicken breast (boneless skinless), eggs, and other lean meats and beans.

    Obviously you can self sabotage and eat too many free point meals but it gives you the ability to plan things around things that happen in your life more easily without the same stress of counting cards.

    A lot of restaurants loaded as well. It’s easily been the best thing I’ve ever done for me and the meetings help as well as there is the weekly accountability and something you feel like you’re working for on a micro level. And you hear some of the things other people do, even if a lot of the other people are middle aged women.

    Walmart has similar tortillas. Low net carbs and low calorie as well.

    My breakfast everyday has been pretty much the same thing. Two tortillas (which I either make tacos or a quesadilla), four servings of southwestern egg beaters, some protein (been on a sliced turkey breast kick lately), topped with some cholula and some fat free cheese. Whole breakfast is between 280-350 calories depending on what meat I use.
