Shatter is concentrated weed that looks like peanut brittle without the nuts. Oil is exactly what it sounds like and is just weed oil. Kief is the crystals you collect off of your actually weed plant nugs. You should buy something to collect kief in if your smoking flowers.
Kief is the only thing I knew the application for. Oil Ive heard of but am not sure how it’s used (assuming it’s different than what’s in a vape cart?) Never heard of shatter
I’d never heard of it either before a buddy sent me some. It’s good. Smokes like wax. Not sure how to use it in a joint as described though.
From my understanding, you roll a joint (with shatter, or whatever extra you want) the joint is then dipped in cannabis oil, amd while still wet, rolled onto a bed of kief. Dry and viola!

Man I was on oils for some time but flower is my shit. For some reason I feel like oils kicked up my anxiety more. Anyways I’ve had some beers, airpods in, trying to clean up the garage a bit. Gonna rip the end of my weed soon then I’m dry for about a week till next shipment comes in.
I had a burrito tonight with panko crusted fish, kimchi fried rice, hoisin tarter sauce, and greens dressed with soy sesame vinaigrette along with Monterrey jack, green onions, cilantro, and lime. Got some sesame fries with curry ketchup too. Talk about hitting the spot.
