The release I saw said they would hit "big cities" like Philly, New York, LA. Was pleasantly surprised to see Raleigh
Also patiently waiting for a JID release, but in the meantime... my guy Ray Vaughn released 2 new singles recently. I think his debut album is incoming...
when your six year old walks around the house singing “dead in the middle of little italy little did we know that we riddle to middle men who didn’t do diddly”
That playboi carti album is absolute dog shit. I may be old as fuckin dirt but the allure of this guys music baffles me as much as the popularity of any other thing in this world
Kendrick’s verse is great and it works with the beat but carti is horrible I read somewhere Carti says that he and dot are “locked in” and I can’t imagine a thing I want less than that

I feel like Cheat Codes has gotta be the most underrated album oat, ever. the production the performances the features I go back to it soo often. So much moreso than anything The Roots ever did or BT on his own. It’s so good. for me personally i would not hesitate to have it high on any kind of all time list of albums. If I stop and think it immediately comes to mind as a favorite
Agree and listen to it all the time. And it has an all time great song on it too. Doom posthumous is so good and somehow BT is even better on that track.
Black Soprano Family's new is good. All the references. Something about being in the kitchen like Barefoot Contessa lol
What I heard: "If I die today, remember me like John Lennon, Barrett, and Louie..." What he said: "like John Lennon. Buried in Louis..."
https://www.instagram.com/share/_t0_78FGL Nas and DJ premier Mobb Deep GFK The Chef Big L De La Soul And the epic return of..??? 7 albums this year going to be released through Mass Effect. I truly adore Nasir Jones
Did anyone check out Ray Vaughn's new album/mix tape, whatever TDE is calling it? Really good. EAST CHAT is from 2024, but still a good track. Every song is dope to me except the last one. I can't get into it. Hope this album gives him the same boost Doechii got from her release.
Flume and Peggy EP out. 4 tracks that don't mesh in any way, but have interesting enough parts of each. Hopefully its a tease of something bigger.

Antonio Sánchez is one of the best drummers alive. Saw him live recently so I've been deep diving his catalog. Adore this one...
Clipse was dropped from their Def Jam deal because they refused to remove or censor Kendrick’s verse on their upcoming album shame on Drake, man
