beaniesigelsp Now that I've got your attention! I think a lot of you are misinterpreting what I'm saying… See this thing bigger than Nino Brown.. First & foremost who really care about Meek & Drake rap beef…That hole situation gay.. Meek said what he said and Drake did what he did !!! Bottom line. .. I'm not choosing sides in none of this shit.. For one I can care less plus it's none of my business. .. I know ,Why would Meek care if Drake didn't write his own shit I don't know.. I'm going to still bang Drake shit just like everybody else is because nobody cares point blank.. I know, why would Meek diss Ar. I don't know… You have to choose your battles carefully and be prepared for the outcome good or bad.. But this about to move somewhere else beyond rap.. "A wise man don't learn from his own mistakes ,he learns from the mistakes of other.. I told yall "I go through it so you WOULDN'T do it after me". .. Somebody mite die over this stupid shit.. it won't be Ar.,Meek, or Drake.. it's going to be one of the entourage … Somebody going to move out to prove they loyalty to something that's not loyal to them "stupidity " somebody dies somebody in jail for life over what. You'll be lucky if a nigga get you a lawyer send you some flicks & commissary money for a couple months…good luck on that dark skin Jermaine… But what do I know.. I'm just a washed up rapper right? RIGHT ! .. This the shit that happens when you turn your back on your people… You don't advise them on what's right.. You Don't tell them they acting like a sucker when they doing sucker shit!!! Advice to @ar_ab_32 don't fall for the banana in the tailpipe & sacrifice something or someone over this gay shit…do your thing and get your money homie.. Advise to @meekmill tighten up your circle, Get them yes men from around you that's not going to keep it when you make a bad decision, because we all do at times. "Gangsters fuck up"… Jay said "it's a lesson learned even in defeat ! "I'M FOR MY CITY THAT ALL" But like I said I ain't nobody right. RIGHT! QUIT THE BULLSHIT!!
Just got around to listening to The Weeknd's new album all the way through. Not sure if there's a thread for that but I am really liking it. Not sure how I feel about the individual but his music is on point.
I really enjoy this song from Budden. It almost sounds like hes taking shots at Slaughthouse & Eminem but he said its not that at all. Its more of a compliment.
I am. Not a fan of Future and think Drake is a douche so probably won't like it but still have to try
What's everybody's fall concert slate? So far for me: Rocky/Tyler/Danny/Vince on Sunday here in Chicago Halloween at Red Rocks with Mac Miller and Action Bronson (Flatbush Zombies and Goldlink opening too)
K.R.I.T. is back. New project produced by DJ Drama. Track with Luda bangs in the whip http://www.datpiff.com/Big-KRIT-Its-Better-This-Way-mixtape.740537.html
Any of y'all got that Rap Yearbook yet? The chapter on Big Pimpin alone is good enough for the price.
What do you think of it so far? My first taste of Logic was that Under Pressure album and despite frowning at him using the Midnight Maurader's type chick dropping information throughout the album, I really liked a lot of songs on it (Gang Related....got damn.) but then I started listening to Kendrick's stuff and heard a bit more of Drake and had to slowly realize how all over the place he was with his delivery (and cribbing)...but I still like it. More of the same on this one? Because my brother who's far more aquainted with his earlier works says that he's doing it again on this, example being this track which he supposedly sounds like Drake. Eh. http://www.audiomack.com/song/dylan96r/i-am-the-greatest
I really liked Under Pressure. Haven't quite had enough exposure to this album to form an opinion. I don't think his delivery is all over the place but haven't really thought about it that much
That's the mindset I need to adopt when listening to his stuff because I honestly liked the majority of that album and plan to listen to his other stuff but it's always followed by the criticism of his flow and how it's never consistent and sounds too much like whichever one of his peers he's trying to emulate.
I've never heard the term, but context clues would indicate it means stealing the rap style/flow of other rappers instead of having your own.
Dig the new album. He's still biting flows, but I don't really give a shit as long as it's good music, which it is. Lyricism is still on point and he's got an incredible ear for beats. Love the hiphop jazz sound he usually comes with.
