I dont listen to a lot of new music but I like this local kid.
I'm biased bc he's a good friend but I thought this was nice.
My Uber driver here in Houston was a rapper. He drove a Chrysler town and country as well. He played me his demo and rapped along to it while driving me home from the bar. It was pretty cool actually. I was fucking trashed so idk who he was or whatever but /csb
Did he try to hit you up for cash at the end? I hate when people do that. It's like I can rap too bro
Nah he was cool. He gave me his Instagram or Twitter or something but I wasn’t really functional at the time.
FM! by Vince Staples is an amazing album. Under 25 minutes and no second wasted
mudboy is such a good album. and this video
Tekashi69, his recently fired manager and 2 other former associates are in federal custody after getting busted on racketeering charges -- which almost certainly means the rapper's going to prison ... TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell us ... 6ix9ine was arrested Sunday night by ATF agents in NYC, and the agents also hauled in his ex-manager, Shottie, at the same time. You'll recall Tekashi had just fired Shottie and much of his management team last week.
One of the other suspects arrested is Faheem Walter -- aka Crippy -- who got shot a few weeks ago during the altercation with Tekashi's record label head.
All 4 men are facing racketeering and firearms charges. We're told the investigation was a joint effort by ATF, NYPD and Homeland Security.
It's interesting, Tekashi was on "The Breakfast Club" just last week and admitted he only feared two things ... God and the FBI.
Good. fuck that dude. Hope he goes away for a long fucking time
Never liked him or his music
Put that cunt right next to xxx
Apparently DJ Akademiks posted a video that's a big part of all the charges
Damn apparently the FBI brought him in on Saturday for his own protection bc a gang he cut off was trying to kill him. He signed a waiver saying he was good and then left. Was going to a casino and they were worried he'd be killed there so they picked him up on the racketeering charges. They didn't offer bail for his own protection.
There's also this ... prosecutors expressed Monday just how much of a target Tekashi had been prior to his arrest this weekend. One prosecutor told a judge ex-members of Tekashi's crew "wanted to super violate him" following his appearance on the 'Breakfast Club' ... where he accused his inner circle of turning on him.
The prosecutor, Michael Longyear, said 'super violate' meant inflict harm on Tekashi, including possibly shooting him. He said they took Tekashi in after learning he was planning a trip to a Connecticut casino, and feared an attempt on his life could put innocent people in jeopardy.
I haven't see anything about that. Watching today's Everyday's Struggles and he's talking about the subject but nothing about him being involved.
This is what I saw
Ooooooooh. Yea I read 6ix posted video of himself outside while the robbery was going on. Still watching Everyday Struggle and he hasn't mentioned it.
The armed robbery charge, which was never prosecuted, took place in Times Square this April; prosecutors said that the rapper’s four associates robbed a rival gang at gunpoint while Hernandez waited in the vehicle and alleged he filmed the robbery. When his home was searched in September, investigators found the stolen items from that April robbery. The prosecution didn’t offer further details.
Yea I'm not surprised Ak isn't talking about it, since he's most likely going to be a big part of the trial
Oh he's talking about the subject, just no mention on his posting anything or being involved at all other than being friends with 6ix9ine. I'm 23 minutes in and this is the only subject they've talked about.
This is from today:
Appreciate the link but I don't give near enough shit to listen to anything relating tekashi unless it's Ebro clowning on him
this moron has already left his stink on the world
his effect on the youth will last a lot longer than the consequences
a month after he’s locked up, another piece of shit will float along and play the same role
never seen a rapper come up and then get into gangs and dealing. they rap specifically to escape that lifestyle, that's why this dude is especially fucking dumb.
man, he's got RICO charges, he's not fucked he is mega-fucked.
I think I heard 25 to life for him.
This whole fake beef with Joyner and Tory is producing some fantastic music.
6ix9ine delayed his album release lololol. Play stupid games, get stupid rewards.
That Jay verse
The entire song I’m really digging. Album isn’t bad either
This guy is fucking talented. His new album DiCaprio 2 is great start to finish.
J.I.D is so great.
His music also introduced me to EARTHGANG, which I cannot get enough of them.
I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to see a rap performance with no yelling or backtracks. They killed it.
Side note: Can't believe J.I.D was on national television. That's awesome.
Chance dropped two new songs this week. Melodic Chance is best Chance, IMO, so I really love “My Own Thing.”
I wish chance released stuff on vinyl
new Ice Cube getting positive reaction
Didnt know this was a thing. Off to find it now. Thank you.
Maybe Im late to the party but WTF happened to Trick Daddy
Take it to the house!
He got old?
I'll never forget riding around LA blaring "I'm a Thug" when it first released. I was exploring areas I had no fucking business being in but I was 22 and dumb so yea.
I went to a big show a few years back that had Juvenile, Trick Daddy, Mystikal, Bun B, and Pastor Troy. The Trick Daddy portion was wild. He starts off his set by bitching about having to drive himself to the shitty venue, then handed out $20 to any woman that showed him her EBT cars, then came the highlight of the show “My not Pac-Man Jones came up with this, if any of you bitches come up here and prove you got a yeast infection I’ll give you $200”. Weird night.
That’s good. Need some new 2Chainz, Ross and Wale. Would also like to hear from Big Sean this year. Push had said he would be coming sooner with his next project so I think we get something from him in 2019.
Not a huge 21 fan at all, but the intro on his new album with Cole really goes, can’t stop listening. Will probably give the album a listen.
It’s a solid album, huge growth from 21 on this.
