Think you were p much dead on about the Duvy situation. Almost identical April/May splits is alarming when you’re hovering a shade below the Mendoza line with a 40% K rate and a 10-homer pace.

 

He's a beast, but I think he has trouble staying healthy with his frame. Unless I'm mixing him up with someone else.

 

This might be a silly question, but would somebody claim Duvall if we tried to send him down? They’d be on the hook for the prorated contract. Granted idk if Duvall would accept the designation or opt for free agency

Maybe I’m crazy but I think his market would be small. 8 million roughly for a .190 hitter that plays good defense seems to keep away the small market teams. Does a larger market team need him at that production? Duvall has shown he can hit .190 over a season before so this isn’t guaranteed to ever improve.
