If Grissom is a stud.. Can he play left when Ozzie gets back and next year (assuming we resign Dansby)

Vaughn Grissom, SS, Atlanta Previous ranking: Unranked Atlanta’s 11th-round pick in 2019 — the year the organization went hog-wild after the 10th round and signed a bunch of promising high school players to above-slot bonuses in the $200,000 to $600,000 range — Grissom hit .312/.404/.487 in High A this year before a July promotion to Double A, where he’s continued to rake. He’s a plus runner and a great hitter for contact, but may not have a ton of pop and probably moves off shortstop. He doesn’t have a huge ceiling but has established himself as a likely regular who could be a borderline star. (He’s unrelated to Marquis, by the way.

Harris batting ninth is not a dig on his abilities, it’s a pretty standard strategic decision with a fast guy. When he and Ron were both hot, we piled up tons of scoring opportunities with it.

This is true. Ideally, he’s your true lead off, followed by Dansby, Acuna, Riley, then Olson, but idk, Snit hates runs or something. A Harris-Dansby-Acuna 1-2-3 is a catcher’s nightmare.
Ideally you leave Marcell trapped in the room inside the Green Monster, play Robbie and Eddie every day flip-flopping between LF and DH, and bring Gilly back to fill the roster spot as a defense replacement and occasional sub.
Not really…Adrianza is still your utility guy and Grissom can also play anything but maybe first in a pinch if there’s a short injury stint. Or do you mean until Ozzie comes back?
I really nailed the prospect scouting report in Grissom last year when I brought his name up. Happy to see them give him the chance. Just elite scouting posted below through boxscore watching. High level stuff.
If they were looking for someone whose existence is offensive to the game, then Chip should definitely be shocked it’s not him they asked
