a) you have to ignore quick’s chicken little act
b) we are seemingly incompetent against RHP for some reason. no idea what the splits are but feels like a good bit of the runs come when we feast on LHP

 

Really we just need our LHH to get going.

Olson strikes out too much and Eddie and Harris have disappointed

And if you hate Eddie, Hilliard is .050/.050/.100 in 20 PAs since 4/25. 11 K and no walks in those at-bats.

They need to add another lefty bat

 

Morton can be frustrating but deserves a lot better than what the line up has delivered. Quick look at his stats, 3 of his loses he's given up 2 ER or less and the team has scored 1 run or less.

 

I could be misremembering, but I want to say Eddie has been a fairly good pinch hitter in the past. Give Pillar a few starts in left and see what happens. If it doesn’t work then you know you’re going to need a lefty bat at the deadline
