I am tentatively declaring AJ Minter back 5 straight scoreless appearances and since that awful outing against Toronto he’s gone 8.2 innings and given up 1 walk, 6 hits, 2 runs, and struck out 10
i can’t believe that cop loving dork talked that much shit over a 3rd inning homer in early june and still lost. so typical mets
At this point I’m more worried about Miami than New York If they could find another infielder to get Segura out of the lineup daily and add some pitching depth they could be tough
Depending on the metric you want to use.. he's been a bottom 5 hitter in the entire league. (minimum 100 abs.) His defense keeps him near replacement level overall but Pillar and Hilliard are better players at this point. Over the last 2 weeks he's been slightly better. But still the worst player on our team.
I’m nowhere near ready to give up on Harris but at this point I’d like for Thrill to play here and there a little more
Yea the contract makes things tough. You don't give up on him but he's young enough to spend some time in the minors if we hadn't paid him. The jays just sent Manoah to fucking instructional league and he was 3rd in the cy young last year and got MVP votes.
I'd actually be ok sending MH2 down for a bit, and now would be a good time to do it. Gwinnett is home this week, in Nashville next week and back home the week after. Ideal to keep him close.
