The concerns are that we’re a .500 team for a month now. That appears to not be changing given our injuries and bullpen.
When Adam Duvall is batting fifth and Johan Camargo is starting a short, .500 is fine. We can limp into the playoffs so long as we get Bae and Kakes back for the division series. I would also advise you to look at your wristband and stop being a little bitch.
All of this is true if we can get to division series. Nats are 4.5 back and Scherzer is coming back any day now. Very concerned about winning the east at this point.
It's pretty random. If the usher is doing something else you are fine. Supposedly standing room only all weekend though.
We are going to buy the cheapest tickets on Stub Hub and just bounce around. Also, I know if you park in the garages near the stadium and spend $50 or more they validate your parking. Is this for as long as you are there or only a certain amount of time? I have always parked across the interstate and love the ease of getting out back to I75 north.
Not really tho. People are pointing out exactly what you said in the middle. Is concerning and scary. Great we are 20 games over 500,but that might not mean shit pretty quickly when a Hot Nats team is right behind us and looking to get Max back this weekend. I think most everyone, or at least me, is posting that I'm getting pretty concerned with our issues piling up
8-2 over thier last 10, getting their best player back and we just lost 2H Ender, and nearing a black hole from 5-9 and zero legitimate options in the OF besides Ron But yeah the same
It's crazy that after all the talk of the East turning to shit that just a month later you could argue it's the toughest division in baseball. Both wild cards could come out of the East.
Anyone who isn't at least a little bit concerned is either dumb or being disingenuous. I'm optimistic and think we'll be alright (mainly because I think the three bullpen additions will figure their shit out and I think the Hech signing will do a lot for us defensively) but all the injuries are brutal. The back half of our lineup is hot garbage. We gotta hope we get good Dansby back and those 5-8 guys need to at least take turns coming up with the occasional production.
It just amazes me they spent so much to fix the bullpen and then look at the black holes on offense and was like nah we good.
I posted it last night, but not having international money to use in a trade for Dickerson is a fucking killer, especially with Ender done for the regular season. If Billy Hamilton clears waivers, they need to be aggressive in going after him, as insane as that would’ve sounded two weeks ago.
We've gotta not get swept this weekend and Nats can't sweep. Then we need to survive the rest of this month, taking advantage of playing some lesser teams. After that hopefully we get some guys back for September like Dansby/Riley/Markakis and beat the Nats head to head in series in Sept at near full strength.
The road to the World Series is going to go through LA for the foreseeable future. Stop being a little bitch.
Sure and we know we’re not going to beat them in our our current state. Showing progress (I.e. winning a series) is huge for us. Being sensible is not being a bitch about anything. As the straw that stirs the P2C drink, I take great offense to that.
Imagine being like my favorite NBA players are Miles Plumlee, Jimmer Ferdette, and current Dwight Howard and you get Stone Cold Steve Austin in this thread
