He makes THAT play to close the game, but completely whiffed on the most routine of double plays earlier.
Basically a carbon copy of his confused Joyce call. He just starts saying words but not coherent sentences.
Bullpen since Saturday: 11.1 IP, 0.79 ERA, 2.15 FIP, 2.42 xFIP, 11.12 K/9, 0.79 BB/9, 100% strand rate
Freddie only one off his career high in HRs and seven off his career high of RBI with 486 at bats. should get another 100+ ABs if healthy.
not too surprising, I think mac is too old to play a full season. give him a rest and 2 weeks off and get him ready for the last couple weeks and postseason
Dob hasn't gotten the memo. At this point, defense first guy might be the move though. Especially if he can throw.
Also keep in mind that the offensive outputs in AAA are so ridiculous this year that even with an .821 OPS and the amount of homers he's put up, AJax is roughly league average as a hitter in AAA according to his wRC+
Chip is bad, but I watch/listen to a lot of our games with the other teams broadcast team, and he's probably middle of the road. Their aren't just a ton of amazing guys out there.
the nationals guy who says "see. you. later." for every home-run no matter how meaningless it may be is truly insufferable
Apparently Evan Gattis is still a free agent. That's weird. Not sure if he can catch though. Per my research, all recent sightings have been at bars.
Farters bout to shit himself cuz Ajax coming for his job when Mac gets healthy. Spoiler I know he's probably not but couldn't resist a fart and shit joke. Yes I'm three years old.
Just judging off quick pitch Bob "See You Later" Carpenter is terrible and the screamer in Cleveland (Tom Hamilton) is terrible also . I like Ben Ingram and Jim Powell as broadcasters but their home run calls are weak. The gold standard is still Kuiper IMO. He and Krukow are a really good team. I tolerate Chip knowing he's goofy but feel the additions of Glavine and Francoeur have been overall positive additions and make the TV broadcast ok to watch.
