The offical Smoltzy represent crew have now left the building. And when I say building, I mean PBR. Man, some great asses. What a night.
We hosted a murder mystery dinner party for our friends last night. Turned the game on right at the end. Was a fun way to finish the night. So happy for the guys and for Snit. I hope we stay healthy the rest of the way out and really make a run.
Rewatching the celebration. Duke legit bellyflopped into the fountain that’s roughly ~2 feet deep at best.
Good work to all in this thread who sacrificed their cardiac health to will us to another championship season
I know we wont have Turner like money with Liberty running things but we are building a total machine. Want to get 100 wins on the season but damn it feels good to clinch the East after the win streaks we have had to deal with.
With the success of the RE developments around the stadium if they keep winning there’s no reason they shouldn’t support a payroll near luxury tax at some point over the next 3-5 seasons
Just had to venture to Ross, to buy another suitcase for the flight home. So much merchandise. Liberty can thank me later.
Our boy thick lol. He knew his ass had to get some good hangover food because he's gonna have to play third today likely lol.
Without a doubt. I think it should be Kuechel, Folty and then depending on matchup Soroka/Fried. Idk what you do there.
Idk what was he doing with his wrist in the dugout? Looked like he was holding his wrist oddly. Couldn't hear what was said. He's still playing so maybe it's nothing.
Just had 15 hours on a flight home to think back to Friday night, and remembered two funny moments, if y’all indulge me: - Folty warming up in front of us in the chophouse, Louis Holth yells out extremely loud “hey Folty, DBALB”, and Folty clearly heard it, gave a smirk. - Right before Ron’s HR (p2c from memory), Louis Holth calling “this is going out of the park this pitch”, my reply “agreed” - boom, HR
Back to Dansby looking terrible... at this point we have to start seriously considering playing Hech over Dansby. Dansby can't hit shit. He's a black hole. All Hech has done is hit since bringing him to Atlanta. Dansby isn't even playing elite defense at this juncture. This is a big deal. Dansby is so lost at the plate. Tacking on here
The DL stint killed his mojo. He was smashing the ball to all sides of the field. He came back and just starting swinging at every slider again and trying to pull everything. La Pantera ought to be starting. He’s brought his average up almost 40 points since being here.
Have thought the same thing over the last few days. But then I also thought, what are the chances of Snit benching one of his regulars barring an injury or AA sending them to Siberia?
I'd love to see his metrics from the second half. I know his defense wasn't good early but I wonder if it's improved.
